In a strange coincidence I spent some of this weekend talking Ang on Twitter even though I hadn't realized it was about to be his birthday today, so I'd say Fate chose this week's contest. And because more than anything a battle between actresses livens you folks up, let's face down the Sisters Dashwood of Ang's 1995 classic Sense & Sensibility.
And no before anyone asks I don't think Kate Winslet or Emma Thompson to be beastly in any manner. But seeing as the film itself pits their two ways of existing at odds with one another for the majority of its run-time (only to eventually decide, with fine wisdom, that the sisters could clearly stand to learn a little from one another) it doesn't seem completely...

In a refreshing change of pace, Sam Esmail has most of the answers you're likely searching for after last night's confusing and bonkers finale of Mr. Robot. He spoke exclusively with THR about what happened, and what's next for the show.
As you can probably guess, there are spoilers ahead.
First, the good news: Elliot is indeed alive, and yes, he was really shot and Tyrell is real. As many of you probably made the connection, this scene was a callback to earlier in the season when Mr. Robot shot Elliot:
"...it was imperative that this was the defining real — and I kind of want to underline that (laughs) — moment for Elliot, because he's actually been shot twice in the show now. He was shot in episode four of the first season in that fever dream hallucination, and was obviously continually shot in the beginning of this season. This one,...

Change is in the air!
Jane is moving to D.C., Tommy is moving back home and Maura is dealing with living patients.
Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 11 did a great job of starting to tie up loose ends as the series moves towards its conclusion.
Although there was a murder to be solved as usual, a good deal of time was spent on everyone's reactions to Jane's move to D.C. to become an FBI instructor.
I never thought that you being safe would mean you moving 500 miles away.
Angela Permalink: I never thought that you being safe would mean you moving 500 miles away. Added: August 22, 2016
As expected, everyone was pretty sad even though they are happy for Jane. Angela's reaction was typical Angela, starting with her sadness and moving onto how proud of Jane she was and how happy she was for her.

Glenn here. Tell me I am not the only one who looked at this poster for Maleficent featuring Angelina Jolie clad entirely in deep, dark black and saw, rather, Michelle Pfeiffer. Every time I glance at the poster I see Pfeiffer, not Jolie. Is my mind playing tricks on me since, duh, I want Michelle Pfeiffer in everything? Or have they deliberately made Jolie look like her? Or am I just insane?
No matter who it stars, I'm excited to see Maleficent in cinemas in 2014. Are you? Nothing about Jolie's uber-diva pose on this poster is making me question the quality. If anything, it's giving the film a reputation within me that it can't possibly reach. In other words: I'm loving the poster. If nothing else at least Angie will look fabulous, and maybe Anne B. Sheppard will get a third Oscar nomination she (surprisingly?) didn't get for Inglourious Basterds.

With Barbie now a fugitive, Jim essentially issues martial law in the dome and decides that he and his goons need to go house to house looking for him. Jim puts Junior in charge of “guarding” Julia in case Barbie come back to finish her off. In reality, he just wants to be notified if she wakes up and starts talking about who really shot her. Caroline, having seen the egg, warns the kids, and they hide the egg at Ben’s house (his house had already been checked). It seemed like the safer bet would have been to hide the egg in Junior’s bomb shelter.
Dodee rushes to Jim, urging him to come listen to the military chatter she was picking up. It talked about the...

Honestly, with 11 million people reportedly watching this show each week, and the fact that there’s been little to no development on an explanation for the dome, why does every single episode need to open with the same voice-over re-establishing the premise? We get it, the town like any other is now different because it’s Under The Dome (cue faux spooky voice) – and now things are crazy! Except they’re not at all. In fact they’re pretty boring and I don’t know what these 11 million people are thinking each week.
It looks like the theory Julia and Dodie postulated at the end of the previous episode – that the dome is sentient and attempting to provide its inhabitants with what they need, like a kid putting a twig and leaf into a mason jar for the bugs he’s caught, or a psycho locking...

Smile for the camera, you two! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stepped out looking absolutely fabulous (yet again) for the Berlin premiere of the actor's latest action flick World War Z. Pitt wore his usual all-black attire while flashing a big grin, while his ladylove contrasted his look with a white, strapless silk Ralph & Russo peplum dress. Aside from promoting his film, the actor and Angie will be celebrating the actress' 38th birthday while in Germany. The couple got a head start in Paris last night, when Pitt took Jolie out to wine restaurant Il Vino for a bite to eat. "They indulged in both red and white wines," a source tells E! News. "They had some cake for...

Angelina Jolie has been laying low ever since she announced that she underwent a preventative double mastectomy earlier this month, but fans will soon get a chance to see her following her big news. New reports have surfaced that Angie will make her first post mastectomy announcement appearance at Brad Pitt's World War Z premiere in London on June 2. The couple often walk the red carpet together at their bigger premieres, so it should come as no surprise that Angelina will be supporting Brad and his new project. The news of Angie's possible appearance in London comes just a few days after it was announced that her aunt, Debbie Martin, had passed away after a battle with breast cancer. Angelina has said that she decided to get her mastectomy - and also made plans to get her ovaries removed - after finding out that she carries the "faulty" Brca gene,...

Say what you want about Season 12 of American Idol, but a critical look back at the trajectories of winner Candice Glover and runner-up Kree Harrison paints a picture of two women who delivered as many memorable musical moments as any contestants in recent history. At least that’s what my cohost Melinda Doolittle and I are arguing in the most shocking season finale of Idology ever*. (*Last phrase should be delivered in the voice of The Bachelor‘s Chris Harrison.)

Neil Gaiman will be writing issue #5 of the newly relaunched “Guardians of the Galaxy” comics series this summer, Marvel have confirmed to The New York Times.
Gaiman and Todd MacFarlane’s (creator of “Spawn”) character Angela will feature at the end of the Marvel Event “Age of Ultron” and then enter “Guardians of the Galaxy” for a special one-off issue co-written by Brian Michael Bendis and Neil Gaiman.
Angela is a heavenly bounty hunter and featured in several Spawn comics written by Gaiman in the early ’90s. After a protracted legal battle over who owned the character, both Gaiman and MacFarlane were credited as co-creators in a court ruling from 2002.
By hiring a high-profile writer like Gaiman, the move is a conscious push by Marvel to put the Guardians in the spotlight well in advance of their debut feature film next year.

According to the New York Times, Neil Gaiman will return to Marvel to pen the final chapter of Age Of Ultron, which concludes with issue #10. The Sandman creator will also co-write Guardians Of The Galaxy #5 with Brian Bendis. But that's not all: Image comics' Angela - an angel created by Gaiman for Todd McFarlan's Spawn - is now officially a Marvel comics character! And she'll be popping up in not only Age Of Ultron but Guardians Of The Galaxy too. From Marvel.com June’s Age Of Ultron #10 will not only conclude the epic event, but include a special epilogue written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by the legendary Joe Quesada bringing Gaiman’s original creation Angela into the Marvel Universe. Sporting a new Quesada-designed look, Angela will have an immediate impact that carries over into Guardians Of The Galaxy #5 in July, written by Bendis and Gaiman. But how...

One of the last times Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne, left) was face-to-face with serial killer Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds), the scientist almost strangled him to death. And in tonight’s episode of Bones, Pelant is out to prove that he didn’t appreciate being treated that way.
Step one in his revenge? Turning Hodgins and Angela’s (Michaela Conlin, not pictured) home into a crime scene.
” rears his ugly head yet again and in a brutal, horrific way,” teases Thyne. ” the stress is now ten-fold because Jack isn’t just protecting himself, he’s got a wife and a child to protect.

"Santa" does exist! In the form of a generous, bearded, black policeman! Tonight's episode was cute. It started and ended sweetly, and headed into the winter hiatus without any real questions. In fact, the only relationship that seems unsettled is the one between Cece and Schmidt. I'm curious about the number of fans that are all for Cece and Schmidt versus the ones who think they are a ridiculous couple together. I fall into the first camp, if that hasn't been made clear already.
And although Sam is cute, I didn't think much about him between their last breakup and tonight's reunion. But Jess certainly seems thrilled. I can't imagine it ending too well though. I predict Nick and Angie will stay together, as will Sam and Jess. Then one of the couples will want to accelerate the commitment, but either Jess or Nick will sabotage their own relationship to be with the other person.

Bones is back next week after three weeks of preemption, and there’s a lot in store.

As you may have read in Spoiler Room, after finding himself in a stage of post-breakup homelessness, Sweets moves in with the couple and the result is highly entertaining. Bones has been on a bit of a hiatus throughout the end of the baseball season, but the show returns on Monday with all new episodes. We recently participated in a call with executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan to discuss what's coming next.
The Pelant Question. The mastermind hacker disappeared shortly after the season began, but he continues to hang over the heads of our characters. Stephen said that the Pelant story will heat up again in January when he'll return in earnest. In fact, Hart says that the Pelant return episode is "one of the biggest episodes we’ve ever shot." In addition, the writers are currently discussing the season ending and whether Pelant will be a part of that story.
Angela's Doubt. There's been some mention that Angela will be taking a good, long look at her life to determine if her job and her family is what she really wants.

At this year's Cannes Film Festival, a steady stream of chatter swirled around "The Paperboy" due to a scene in which Nicole Kidman pees on Zac Efron's face.
"Dear Lord, why?" you might ask. Well, aside from the fact that an Oscar winner urinating on your head grants you thespian superpowers and cures migraines, the starlet's saintly spray also cured the searing pain of a jellyfish sting.
We're sure you're all now bursting to witness this degrading spectacle, and, thankfully, "The Paperboy" opens in select theaters this Friday. So while waiting to go — and you gotta go — let's revisit some timeless tinkles from tinseltown. Because while these golden moments might be listed as our Top 9, but they're all #1 in our book.

It’s been a long summer for Bones fans, who have been anxiously awaiting Season 8 to see if Brennan - who skipped town with baby Christine on the Season 7 finale - will reunite with her beloved Booth.
And then, of course, there’s the persisting matter of devious serial killer Christopher Pelant and he consistently seems to be many steps ahead of our Jeffersonian team.
To find out what’s coming on tonight’s season premiere, “The Future In The Past,” along with upcoming episodes, TV Fanatic’s Jim Halterman jumped on the phone with Executive Producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan (who co-wrote the opener) for a spoiler-filled chat...

Bones at Comic-Con: Mending Fences and Overcoming Challenges in Season 8
Season 7 of Bones left us with one heck of a cliffhanger: after being set up for murder by Pelant, Brennan made the choice to flee town with her baby daughter Christine. Unable to pin the crime on Pelant himself - as he had successfully managed to plan the “perfect” crime - her colleagues and Booth were unable to clear her name so, under the advice of her father, she fled.
Stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel and Executive Producer Stephen Nathan came to Comic-Con to tease season 8 of Bones, including Brennan’s journey back to Washington and what’s in store for the characters next year.
Change of State. When Bones returns in the fall, three months will have passed since the events of the finale. Booth will have been taken off the Pelant case and stuck behind a desk by his superiors.

Yet as tonight’s finale confirmed, there are no real winners at Dunder Mifflin — a year later, they’re all still lingering around Michael Scott’s old desk.

In the past, it has been reported that Angie was reluctant to gain weight, but this time -- with a wedding at stake-- she's more open to the idea. "She finally accepted that maybe she looks too thin... She's decided she'd like a more shapely figure when she ties the knot," the source tells the mag. In order to help her achieve a healthier look, Brad has hired celebrity chef pal Jamie Oliver to plan a diet for Angelina consisting of whole healthy meals.

So, what kind of makeup will the stunning actress opt for when she and Brad Pitt finally tie the knot? Now that one of the most famous couples in the world decided to get engaged, it's time to speculate about what Angie will wear on the special day. After breaking up the marriage between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, many thought Angelina Jolie and Brad would never decide to tie the knot. While I'm not the biggest Angie fan, I am excited to see what she'll wear when she walks down the aisle -- especially since I could bet that it won't be a traditional gown. Angie and Brad love to beat to their own unconventional drum, and I'm sure their wedding will be no different. With that being said, I don't think the star will saunter down...

Forget the main crew of Bones (Brennan, Booth, Sweets, Hodgins, Cam, and Angela) and let’s focus on the benchwarmers, the B-team, the young squints! As any Bones fan who has been watching since the fourth season knows, the Jeffersonian forensic lab has a group of interns that rotate out, with a different intern appearing in each episode of Bones. In an upcoming episode, the interns unite together in the same episode for the first time in the show’s run (not counting any dreams Booth has had).

Anthony has been auf'ed, so I suspect the workroom is going to be a little less fun this week. I guess it could be argued that another goofy challenge could be good for some laughs, but mostly those are just worthy of an eye roll (pick a muse! And make them strip in Central Park!).
