Having appeared in over 50 film and television projects throughout his career, Whitworth has starred alongside some of Hollywood's most notable talents in such films as Limitless (2011), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011), 3:10 to Yuma (2007), Empire Records (1995), Gamer (2009) and Francis Ford Coppola's The Rainmaker (1997), to name a few.
He's gone on to define his craft through a series of formal training, while evolving as a professional actor.

Studying acting in various cities starting in South Carolina where he knew that he was going to become an actor at the age of six. Bouncing all over the south until at the age of 15, when he moved to Los Angeles from Dallas Texas to pursue his career professionally.
Early career started with a reoccurring role on Party of Five (1994) and then moved on to films such as Bye Bye Love (1995) and Empire Records (1995). He had a pivotal role in Francis Ford Coppola's The Rainmaker (1997), where he portrays a young man dying of leukemia. He continued to hone his craft through various film and TV pursuits. Notably, appearing alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in the hit film Limitless (2011) & as the villain Blackout in the Marvel film Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011) alongside Nicholas Cage.
