“Ted Lasso,” which on Sunday earned Sudeikis a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, is currently in production on Season 2.
In the show, Sudeikis’ Lasso was a small-time college football coach from Kansas who was hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer. The premise is pretty much the same as those old NBC Sports digital shorts; much like the viral videos, hilarity ensues on “Ted Lasso” — and so does heart.
Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed also star in the series.

It's been long in the works, but ITV has now confirmed that it's ordered a pilot for a revival of The Saint.
Set to go into production in 2016, this new take from writers Ed Whitmore (Arthur & George) and Chris Lunt (Prey) promises to bring Simon Templar - a roguish Robin Hood for the modern day - to a whole new audience.
But who could possibly follow in the esteemed footsteps of Sir Roger Moore (and Ian Ogilvy... and, erm, Val Kilmer) in bringing Leslie Charteris's gentleman thief to life? Digital Spy has picked out 12 potentials.
1. James Norton
Last year, Norton delivered two spectacularly disparate performances - as reprehensible Tommy Lee Royce on BBC One's Happy Valley and as 'sexy vicar' Sidney Chambers on ITV's Grantchester. Take a little of Royce's edginess, add a dash of Chambers's charm and you might just have yourself the perfect Saint.

Prey writer Chris Lunt revealed on BBC Radio 5 Live today (April 29) that he has been hired to write a brand new version of the classic spy series starring Sir Roger Moore.

Lunt explained that he will be heading to Hollywood with writer Ed Whitmore (Silent Witness), and that it will "have a very British feel" and will be "shot half in the UK and Europe and half globally".

It looks like Andy Richter will be stepping from behind the podium on Conan to another podium (I am guessing) for a new game show on TBS entitled Pyramid. The show is reportedly a modern-day take on the iconic game show that began asThe $10,000 Pyramid.
I really enjoye watching Men of A Certain Age, and highly recommend it. The new shows don't really catch my interest yet, aside from Pyramid. Check out the full lineup below and share your thoughts on what shows you are most interested in seeing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, novice screenwriter Ed Whitmore has been chosen to write the script for Warner Bros. film “The Lost Years of Merlin”. Whitmore, a script reader for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions, landed the gig of writing for Warner Bros. after years of hard work and a big break. According to the article, Whitmore studied at Oxford and was a journalist for the Times of London. After his newspaper job, he went to UCLA’s screenwriting program and became a reader for ICM, then for Harpo. He wrote scripts in his free time. Whitmore was represented by Circle of Confusion, but none of his scripts sold. However, he kept...

Melinda Clarke is due to make her sixth appearance as CSI‘s Lady Heather this April. But will Gil Grissom be on hand for his sexually charged “friend’s” encore?
Though William Peterson recently and somewhat secretly reprised his role on the CBS procedural, Clarke says, “Unfortunately, no,” he won’t be a part of her upcoming visit.
Nonetheless, “I think the storyline’s pretty interesting,” the actress told E! Online, which first reported on her appearance.

First, a much-anticipated (but all-too-brief) appearance by Gil Grissom, and now Lady Heather! EW has learned that Melinda Clarke will reprise her popular role as a steamy dominatrix for a CSI episode that’ll air in April on CBS.
The (one helluva) story: Human pets are at the center of an investigation by the CSI team. Apparently, a murder occurs within a strange offshoot of the dominatrix world in which rich people pay human beings to be their “pets” (gulp). Lady Heather, now Dr. Lady Heather, becomes professionally involved in the case. The episode was written by CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker and Ed Whitmore.
