Hours before another Brooklyn Nets loss on Thursday, noted “free-thinker” and basketball player Kyrie Irving took to Twitter to boost a movie and book, Hebrews to Negroes, stuffed with antisemitic tropes.
The 2018 film was directed by Ronald Dalton, Jr., and based upon his 2015 book of the same name. A description for the film states that it “uncovers the true identity of the Children of Israel,” while a similar one for the book reads, “Since the European and Arab slave traders stepped foot into Africa, blacks have been told lies about their heritage.

Building a career as an actor can be a long and stressful process, but Rj Mittie is one of the lucky few who was able to get a major break not long after getting into the industry. A review of tonight's The Americans coming up just as soon as I show you how to do your homework on the computer... "I think Martha's bad." -Stan Few things can be more frustrating than watching a TV show where you know much more about what's happening than the characters do. Even if it's not the fault of the ones in the dark, it's hard for them to not come across as dumb, irritating plot devices. Somehow, The Americans has made it three and a half seasons (and counting) with Stan not figuring out what his neighbors are up to — other than a brief whiff of suspicion way back in the very first episode — without damaging that character in the slightest. Stan is impulsive and willful and not immune to mistakes, but there's never a moment where he and Philip are hanging out where I want to scream at the TV,...

Adi Shankar is not your typical movie maker. Along with producing features, including Dredd, The Grey, and A Walk Among the Tombstones, he also worked on a number of short films, like Venom: Truth in Journalism with True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten, and the dark and gritty Power/Rangers short he made with Joseph Kahn. Now, he’s directing his first feature film, and it’s a superhero movie, no less. But what’s most interesting is the insane cast he's put together. According to The Wrap, the film Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets features WWE star “Diamond” Dallas Page, as well as Twilight stars Kellan Lutz (Emmett) and Jackson Rathbone (Jasper); You’re Next star Sharni Vinson; comedian Andy Milonakis; Denise Richards; Jane Seymour; Breaking Bad vet Rj Mitte (Walter White Jr.); and Glee stars Max Adler (Dave ...

A review of tonight's "The Americans" coming up just as soon as I look into the tip of your nose... "You forget what it's like to have your own life." -Nina The title "One Day in the Life of Anton Baklanov" suggests an episode spent entirely in the Russian lab with Anton, Nina, and the disapproving matron. Instead, that's just one part of a busy hour. Yet the title doesn't feel inaccurate, because for this week, everyone is Anton Baklanov: trapped in situations they didn't ask for, and that there seems no hope of escaping from back to the life they thought they were living. Anton's prison is the most overt, because he was literally taken against his will (even Nina confessed to Arkady, knowing the gulag was a potential result), but Paige, Martha and even Philip and Elizabeth all find themselves living lives not their own, where they have...

Earlier this week, Double Dutch International, a company that helps sell films to distributors, negotiated a deal for upcoming thriller 'House of Last Things' to be distributed by Revolver in the U.S and Canada. The film, which marks the directorial debut of Michael Bartlett, looks at the mysterious circumstances that surround a tragedy that took place in a Portland house and how this haunting affects the house's occupants. It stars Lindsey Haun ("True Blood"), Blake Berris ("Days of Our Lives"), and Rj Mitte (Walter White Jr. in "Breaking Bad"). "Double Dutch is excited to announce these territory deals," Double Dutch President Jason Moring said. "'House of Last Things' is a gripping thriller. The odds of Cate Blanchett winning her second Oscar look even stronger after she collected the Screen Actors Guild award on Sunday for best lead actress in Blue Jasmine.
Similarly Matthew McConaughey.s hopes of taking the best lead actor prize have improved after SAG recognised his performance in Dallas Buyers Club.
The SAG awards for Jared Leto as best supporting actor for Dallas Buyers Club and for Lupita Nyong.o as supporting actress in 12 Years A Slave won.t have dimmed either.s chance of winning gold.
Meanwhile the outstanding cast award for American Hustle is viewed by some pundits as a harbinger of that film.s prospects of taking the best picture gong, as happened last year with Argo.
.At this point it just doesn.t appear Blanchett can be beaten . and she still has BAFTA to go before the Academy opens its envelopes on March 2,. opined Deadline com.s Peter Hammond.

Rj Mitte's time as Walter White Jr. on "Breaking Bad" is coming to an end. With the series' final eight episodes set to air later this year, the 20-year-old actor is looking for more work and is considering a career in modeling.
That wouldn't be a stretch for Mitte, who previously posed for a Nsfw photo shoot in Dark Beauty Magazine. He tells Zap2it on the Saturn Awards red carpet that he's had talks with various places about continuing to model.
"I've talked to Milan and I've talked to Fashion Week. I'm always down," he admits. "Dude, if they'll hire me, I'll do it. There's not much I won't do. I love to work. I have way too much free time on my hands at the moment, and I am going stir crazy."
Just how bad have things gotten since he wrapped "Breaking Bad"? "I painted like one whole wall two days ago.

I think it’s relatively safe to say we all love Breaking Bad and if you don’t, well, you’re either lying or just haven’t seen AMC’s greatest series. If you’re familiar with Breaking Bad than you’ll know all about how awesome Rj Mitte is, even if his character of Walter White Jr. mostly amounts to an angst-filled teenager with a strange love affair with breakfast. But that’s really why we love him. So much so I’m legitimately excited by the prospect of Mitte being cast in CBS’ Vegas, despite never having seen the series and knowing next to nothing about it except it stars Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis and its set in 1960s Las Vegas.
But I’m open to watching the episode Mitte will be guest starring in and, who knows, it might rope me in and cause me to...

Rj Mitte, who plays Walter White Jr., couldn't be more excited about this season of Breaking Bad. I spoke with humble actor last week about working on the show, what's in store as the series winds down to the end and his self-described "experience of a lifetime."
In fact, ever since flying to New Mexico for a whirlwind set of auditions and then getting the phone call that he earned the part an hour later - and starting to film almost immediately, to him - it still hasn't felt like five years have passed since it all began.
"I'll be 20 in a week and I started the show when i was like 13, and it's just so ridiculous that I've practically grown up on this set," the actor said. "Everyone is really close and everyone has been so nice. I've learned so much from everybody. I'm still learning a lot."

I recently spoke with actor Rj Mitte, who plays the breakfast loving son of beloved meth crimelord Walter White (Bryan Cranston) on AMC’s Emmy Award winning Breaking Bad, to discuss how season five can top the ground-breaking fourth. Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle) stars in this drama focused on a mid-life crisis gone bad for an underachieving high school chemistry teacher who becomes a drug dealer after discovering he has lung cancer. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to gain financial security for his family, Walter White joins forces with an old student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), in a quest that follows their entry into a dangerous world of drugs and crime. On Breaking Bad, 20-year-old Rj Mitte plays Walter White Jr. -- or ‘Flynn...

Moiri Rossi of Jacksonville, Fla., received her "American Dream" Wednesday.
The National Disability Institute announced that 24-year-old Rossi, who has Down syndrome, won the institute’s "My American Dream – Voices of Americans with Disabilities" video contest. The contest encouraged people with disabilities to share and go after their passions.
The big surprise for Rossi, who wants to pursue acting, was when “Breaking Bad” actor Rj Mitte popped up on Skype to tell her he'd be her new mentor.
Mitte has cerebral palsy and plays Walter White Jr. on the Emmy-winning show.
"I have c.p. in real life," the "Breaking Bad" actor told Rossi and the crowd at the ceremony. "This has really been an honor to…help you achieve your dream."
Rossi's been studying theatre since she was eight years old, she told the crowd. She broke down at the surprise announcement
"I'm literally crying right now because I'm so happy.

As Walter White Jr., Rj Mitte has a front row dinner seat every week to the best show on television.
And in an interview with TV Fanatic yesterday, the Breaking Bad couldn't hold back his excitement over season four and didn't mince word when describing the first two episode of the summer: "They're completely insane," he told me.
Will young Walt continue to admire older Walt? There's little to like at this point about the teenager's father and Mitte says his character will learn that more and more: "He's seeing somewhat through the smoke and mirrors."
Mitte, of course, has Cerebral Palsy, but he doesn't consider himself a role model to others with the condition ("If they wanna look at me as one, that's fine. But I'm just an actor."). The show has only brought up the disease twice, once on season one and once on season three.
