- Once broke several of her toes when she kicked a bazooka out of a stunt man's hands in the film, Octopussy (1983). The gun, in question, was meant to be a plastic mock-up but it was not switched out for the action shot.
- In 2003, she defended Arnold Schwarzenegger to "Los Angeles Times" publication against claims that he groped women. She said she had known him for 20 years, and that he never groped her, and that she would vote for him for political office. She also said that she was working as a real estate agent, in addition to being an actress.

- The James Bond film producers had first seen her playing Greta Garbo in The Silent Lovers (1980) and later on a poster of her sitting on a tiger. They originally considered her for the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981) but cast her in the role of Magda in a different Bond film Octopussy (1983) without auditioning her.
- Even though she was born and raised in Sweden, she speaks English with a flawless American accent. However, she adopted a heavy Swedish accent to play Greta Garbo in The Silent Lovers (1980). She fooled everyone on the set who believed that was her real accent, until one day she spoke in an American accent, and they expressed surprise.
- In the 1970 Miss Universe contest, when she became a semi-finalist, she said in the interview part of the program she was studying to be an interior decorator.
