Watters earned 5 Pro Bowl selections and 4 All-Madden Team honors during his 11-year tenure in the NFL. Watters sits right behind Walter Payton for most consecutive starts by an NFL running back and amassed over 10,000 career rushing yards and over 4,000 receiving yards. In addition, he won a National Championship in 1988 at the University of Notre Dame under Coach Lou Holtz.
