Not too long ago the closest thing we had to a "horror board game" was the Ouija Board, but times have changed. The board game industry is alive and kicking, and as a result all good genres get proper representation. It seems horror resonates the most with board game companies, because we saw a slew of awesome new games come across our play table. Some of these games are twisted, some are spooky, some (okay, let's be honest, most) have something to do with H.P. Lovecraft. But these five games rose above the rest to deliver fright-filled competitive and cooperative play! Game on, horror fans, and check out these 2013 releases.

A comic book obsessed six-year-old boy's earnest quest to discover superpowers takes him on adventures, but could lead to real danger.
Captain T&T was written and directed by Christopher and Leizelle Guiness and stars Kden Hee Chung, Blair Cameron, Sherwin Marcelle, Lucille Poon Kwong, Arlene Simon, Jabari Mcqueen, Niall Royal, Runty Magic, Rizario St Cyr, Wayne Burgess, Mark Wallace, and Zeek Loregnard.
This touching dramatic short is laced with gorgeous cinematography and striking hand-drawn animation. My only warning would be that the quick cuts and shaky Pov shots might be too much for anyone who easily gets motion sick.

"She's a great actress...why don't we just give her some lines?" Woody Harrelson's character Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior campaign strategist and adviser says in the full length trailer for "Game Change." But he might as well be talking about Julianne Moore. Moving beyond just a dead-on imitation, Moore is phenomenal in this brand new spot for the upcoming HBO movie, one that will seem to show Palin both using and being used by the John McCain political machine in the 2008 presidential election. Directed by Jay Roach, who has reunited with his "Recount" writer Danny Strong, the upcoming movie is based on the best-seller by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, and will track the 2008 election on both sides. This movie has pulled together a pretty fantastic cast that also includes Ed Harris shining as McCain and Ron Livingston as Mark Wallace, a senior adviser. But really, this looks...

The upcoming HBO movie Game Change follows the 2008 Presidential bid by Senator John McCain and then-Alaskan governor Sarah Palin. With Austin Powers trilogy director Jay Roach at the helm, it would seem that Game Change might have a comedic slant, but the additions of Academy Award-nominated actors Ed Harris (Apollo 13) and Julianne Moore (The End of the Affair) respectively cast as McCain and Palin indicates that the movie will be a dramatic adaptation of the 2010 novel written by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin that covered the entire 2008 presidential election.
Moore debuted her eerie resemblance to Palin last month, and EW has the first look photo of Harris, who again looks a whole lot like the Arizona senator.
Shooting on Game Change began in April, from a script by Danny Strong, who previously teamed with Roach for the 2008 HBO movie Recount, which covered the 2000 presidential election.

Click the above images for a good look at Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and Ed Harris as John McCain in HBO’s Game Change. We had no idea they would be altering Harris so much to capture the look of McCain. It’s nuts. The movie is based on the juicy book of the same name by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann about McCain’s 2008 bid for the U.S. Presidency and his running mate, Palin.
We’re looking forward to the trailer to see if the acting matches the look. So far the cast also includes Melissa Farman as Bristol Palin, Woody Harrelson as Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior campaign strategist and advisor and Ron Livingston as senior campaign advisor Mark Wallace.

Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, Game Change Julianne Moore (not Tina Fey?) as Sarah Palin, the bespectacled creature from the far corners of the world that the Republican party unleashed during the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign. At that time, Palin's Bridge to Nowhere almost took her to the vice-presidency of the United States; now four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore brings her to life in HBO's upcoming Game Change. A dramatization of the 2008 campaign, Game Change stars Moore as Palin, Ed Harris as John McCain, Woody Harrelson as Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior campaign strategist; Ron Livingston as Mark Wallace, another top McCain advisor; and Melissa Farman as Dancing with the Stars contestant Bristol Palin. No word yet on who'll play Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and their advisors. Jay Roach, the director of both HBO's 2008 drama Recount — about the messy 2000 Us presidential election — and Meet the Fockers (!), [...]...

HBO's "Game Change" has found its Bristol Palin. After the network cast Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, "Temple Grandin" actress Melissa Farman is recruited to join the cast to portray the former vice presidential nominee's daughter.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" star Larry Sullivan has also been cast as Sarah Palin's deputy chief of staff Chris Edwards. Meanwhile, Jamey Sheridan has just nabbed the role of John McCain's speechwriter and senior campaign advisor Mark Salter.
Also recently being added to the cast ensemble of the TV movie is Ron Livingston. The actor of HBO's mini series "Band of Brothers" is tapped to portray Mark Wallace, a senior adviser to McCain-Palin 2008. He led the debate-preparation team for Palin, who ended up exceeding expectations in her face-off with Joe Biden.
Previously, Oscar nominee Ed Harris has been tapped to play former presidential candidate John McCain.

The Tom Hanks company Playtone is putting together Game Change, in which Julianne Moore will play [1] Sarah Palin under the direction of Jay Roach (Austin Powers). The film follows the 2008 Presidential election, and Ed Harris plays [2] John McCain. Now Ron Livingston has been cast as Mark Wallace, senior advisor to the McCain-Palin ticket. In other words, he gets to play the guy who coached Sarah Palin for her debates, and so his scenes with Julianne Moore could be gold. And, no, this movie is not a comedy. At least, I don't think it is. [Deadline [3]] Next up is casting for an action/revenge film called Recoil. These two casting announcements couldn't be more different, but how great would it be to combine them into one film? Anyway, more Recoil news after the break. Recoil sounds like it should be a Sylvester Stallone picture. Instead it will star Steve Austin and Danny Trejo...

Today's TV snacks include ratings for a pair of HBO shows, a new addition to "Burn Notice" and a new sketch-comedy show on Fox.
First, the good news: Ratings for the second episode of "Game of Thrones" on Sunday (April 24) were basically identical to the premiere. The show drew 2.2 million viewers in its first airing and about 730,000 more in a replay, right in line with the premiere's numbers. [HBO]
And now the bad news: Season 2 of "Treme" began with an audience significantly smaller than last year's series premiere. Only 740,000 people watched two airings of Sunday's debut, down from 1.4 million in 2010. [HBO]
"House of Payne" is nearing the end of its run, but TBS is keeping its Tyler Perry pipeline going. The cable channel has ordered 10 episodes of "For Better or Worse," which is based on Perry's "Why Did I Get Married" movies and will star Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith, reprising their roles from the films.

Audrey Hepburn abandoned her Givenchy comfort zone for decade-spanning dramedy Two for the Road (1967) to wear a catwalk of trendy outfits by the hottest designers of the day. And amongst those Mary Quant shifts and Courrèges sunglasses, Hepburn also wore jeans which, onscreen at least, she had seldom done before.
Denim is not a fabric traditionally associated with Audrey Hepburn, yet here she takes to the look with such confidence that all memories of Givenchy couture banish in the zip of a fly. Hepburn uses denim to not only appeal to a younger cinema-going audience, but also to align with her character Joanna Wallace’s optimistic naivety.
We see Joanna wearing denim early in the film. She is supposed to be at her youngest, dressed in high-waisted tapered leg jeans with matching canvas deck shoes, a tucked in red crew neck sweater and wide brown leather belt.

Britain's Prince Andrew has been criticised for spending £4,000 on a helicopter ride. The 49-year-old royal - whose love of private travel has earned him the nickname 'Air Miles Andy' - hired the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter to travel just 146 miles last week, with taxpayers reportedly having to foot the bill. Mark Wallace of the Taxpayers' Alliance said: "The royals should rein in their spending in these tough times. Prince Andrew could have driven and saved thousands of pounds." Andrew hired the £1,000-an-hour helicopter to take him on a tour of UK businesses in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The prince's decision has caused irritation as the furthest business from his Windsor home was just 90 miles away. Activists Plane Stupid said:...
