Broadway’s delightful — but wickedly accurate — satire of big business was brought to movie screens almost intact, with the story, the stars, the styles and dances kept as they were in the long-running show that won a Pulitzer Prize. This is the place to see Robert Morse and Michele Lee at their best — it’s one of the best, and least appreciated movie musicals of the 1960s.

Proving that she’s more than just a flash in the pan, Willow Smith is the star of Chanel eyewear’s brand new advertising campaign.
The “Whip My Hair” songstress looks stunning in a black and white image shot by creative director Karl Lagerfeld as she shows off a pair of oversized sunglasses from the luxury brand’s sun collection.
And despite the fact that Willow is only 15 years old, Miss Smith has all of the sophistication and maturity of a well-seasoned supermodel.

They’re the next generation of creative giants, and Kiernan Shipka, Willow Smith and Zendaya Coleman have teamed up for the April 2016 cover of W magazine.
Regarding her special edition Barbie Doll, Zendaya gushed, “After my Oscar moment, Mattel contacted us. They specifically wanted to make a Barbie that looked like me, in my exact outfit from the Oscars. I was so excited that Barbie wanted to diversify their brand. Now all little girls can have a Barbie that looks like them. My Barbie is in a box. I never let anyone touch her.”
Meanwhile, Miss Smith didn’t hesitate when asked about her fashion inspiration- “My mom. When she was on tour with Ozzfest, she was very raunchy. I loved watching her onstage. I think the first song that ever made an impression on me was my mom performing ‘Bleed All Over Me.’ I would sing it over and over.

With two famous parents and DNA chock full of creativity, Willow and Jaden Smith were bound for stardom before they were even born.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, the “Whip My Hair” singer and the “After Earth” star discussed their view on art and career.
Of his Cool Tapes Vol 2 album, Jaden explained, "We’re just trying to make music that we think is cool. We don’t think a lot of the music out there is that cool. So we make our own music. We don’t have any song that we like to listen to on the Pacific Coast Highway by any other artist, you know?"
Willow added, "That’s what I do with novels. There’re no novels that I like to read so I write my own novels, and then I read them again, and it’s the best thing."
As for their private school curriculum,...

Aliya looks back at the film Peter Sellers wanted destroyed and finds it very, very dark indeed...
Feature
Peter Sellers is one of those figures of British comedy whom everyone feels, in retrospect, was only laughing on the outside. If you want to know about his less than happy life then it's worth watching Geoffrey Rush give a brilliant performance in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004). Rush does a really good job of putting across his deep-seated sense of emptiness. Sellers once said of himself, “I could never be myself… You see, there is no me. I do not exist… There used to be a me, but I had it surgically removed.” This might sound like a deep statement of angst; it seems entirely fitting to me that he said it to Kermit during his 1978 appearance on The Muppet Show. Ten seconds later you can watch him recite...

Going for a more mature sound this time around, Willow Smith just unleashed her latest single “5” and her brother Jaden Smith is also featured on the track.
The 13-year-old “Whip My Hair” songstress sounds much more mature than her newly-teenage status with a sultry and hypnotizing tracking backing up her intense vocals.
Willow sings, "Can you see the words rollin' off my tongue?/ You've got the touch baby 'cause you're the one.”
Miss Smith also told E! News recently why she ditched the lead role in the forthcoming remake of “Annie.” “I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have."...

When Will Smith began developing a remake of the musical Annie with Jay-z, his intentions were clearly to create a vehicle for his hair-whipping daughter Willow. But when news hit last week that the project had landed Will Gluck as director, it came with word that Willow had left the project. But who could possibly fill the shoes of the force of nature that is li'l Miss Smith? How about the youngest Oscar nominee of all time? EW reports that Beasts Of The Southern Wild star Quvenzhane Wallis is being considered by Sony to front their Annie revamp. The site also confessed earlier reports that Willow Smith had aged out the role were not entirely true. She turned it down. According to her father, the stress of being a pop star and its requisite touring took its toll on the 12-year-old, and rather than shooting a movie musical, she told...

On Tuesday morning, Wamg was invited to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ special press preview of John Ford’s Upstream (1927), one of 75 films recently found in the New Zealand Film Archive and repatriated to the U.S. with the cooperation of the National Film Preservation Foundation.
The 1927 silent film, that was thought lost for decades, had it’s re-premiere Wednesday night, September 1, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Many of the VIP’s on hand included Silent Film Historians and those involved with the restoration, as well as the general public.
Having seen the film on Tuesday, I must say the transfer is absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed by the special care taken with the film’s clarity and how vibrant the tinting is on the multiple color frames throughout. The smoky special effects combined with the subtle transitions made me forget I was...
