- Henri de Turenne was born on November 19, 1921 in Tours, France. He was a writer and producer, known for Les Alsaciens: ou les deux Mathilde (1996), 36, le grand tournant (1970) and Fort Saganne (1984). He died on August 23, 2016 in Paris, France.
- Son of Armand de Turenne,an ace of the French air corps in WWI, he won the Albert-Londres prize in 1951 and at his death, was the oldest member of that jury that gives journalism prizes in France.
- Co-founder in 1981 of " la Société civile des auteurs multimédia" (Scam), and its president 1983-1985.
