Was a producer for Leslie Moonves, first at 20th Century Fox, then Lorimar, and Warner Bros., and finally when Moonves became chairman of CBS, for 14 years and produced many hours of network television, before becoming an independent producer.
In 1982, he left his father's company to strike out on his own, becoming an executive for MGM/UA, under company president Thomas D. Tannenbaum.
With business partner Edward Milstein, they founded Level 1 Entertainment in 2003.
