Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown season two episode eight wastes no time in revealing nothing nefarious has happened to Mike. Episode seven ended with Kyle calling his bro to tell him he found Iris…a call that Mike didn’t pick up. Instead, viewers were shown an open bottle and a glass of booze on Mike’s desk while his cell phone was heard vibrating.
It turns out Mike (Jeremy Renner) is just taking some time off to reset. He’s drinking – a lot – and wandering the streets of Kingstown while his mom and Kyle worry something’s happened. Mike dropped off his keys at a bar bright and early, forcing the bartender to swear she wouldn’t return them. He also had...

Danny's done many favors for fellow cops, so who expected his friendship with Acosta to turn into a date?
On Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 11, it seemed like Danny was helping Acosta out because he felt guilty that she got hurt while covering for him after Linda's death.
That's typical Danny. Deciding to ask her out on a date -- after Sunday evening dinner, no less -- wasn't.
Blue Blood fans have debated Danny's potential love life since Linda's death. Some fans ship Danny/Baez, while others think that's a terrible idea and would rather Danny date Maggie, the psychic played by Callie Thorne.
It's fine for Blue Bloods to bring someone new in for Danny, but it's irritating that he's supposedly known Acosta for years, yet we've never heard of her before.

Callie Thorne was back, and this time her character was less flighty.
Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 3 dealt with Danny and Baez's investigation after Maggie was stabbed.
Maggie bonded with Baez and the baby and helped catch her would-be killer without becoming annoying.
While I love Callie Thorne, I've never been a huge Maggie fan. It's not so much that she's a psychic, but she never felt quite like a real person before. Her psychic abilities and eccentric personality were too over the top.
This time, Maggie was a crime victim who had temporarily lost her gift, making her more relatable.
View Slideshow: Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 1 Photos: What's About to Go Down?
She didn't seem any different at the hospital than any other victim.
She was confused, couldn't remember much about her attack, and worried about her future.
She'd also lost her ability to hear voices and see visions that other people didn't see.

It's been a long wait, but Blue Bloods Season 12 premieres in less than a month.
CBS has now dropped a batch of photos for Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 1, titled "Hate Is Hate," and it teases a lot of pivotal scenes ahead for fans of the beloved procedural.
The good news is that the photos tease the Reagan family dinners we've come to expect from the series.
It's nice to know that, in the midst of so many changes in the world, they still put everything aside to come to dinner in the name of connecting with one another.
So, we can expected the family to sip on fine wine, eat good food, and crack some wild jokes, which might be some much-needed respite from the darkness infused throughout the rest of the season premiere.

Spoiler Alert: The following story contains details from the series finale of NCIS: New Orleans.
On Monday, NCIS: New Orleans came to the end of its seventh and final season, going out on a celebratory note.
The series finale, titled “Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler,” picks up with Pride (Scott Bakula) on the eve of his wedding to Rita (his real-life wife Chelsea Field), as he continues to dig into an attack on his half brother Jimmy (Jason Alan Carvell) and Connor (Drew Scheid), the son he’s only recently come to know.
Initially, it seems like the attack came from one of his mother Sasha’s (Callie Thorne) many enemies. It ultimately comes out, though, that Sasha had the attack staged, so that she could take Connor into Witness Protection, without Pride intervening. While it looks for a moment like Connor is going to skip town with his mother,...

NCIS: New Orleans will air its last-ever installment in two months.
While the cancellation announcement came very late in the game, we now know who will be returning before the series wraps up for good.
TV Line is reporting that Callie Thorne will be back in the role of Sasha, and she will arrive armed with a bombshell that could change Pride's life forever, according to the stunning new report.
If you watch NCIS: New Orleans online, you know Sasha first appeared as an ex-member of the New Orleans Broussard crime syndicate.
But she claimed she was trying to get away from her family. Unfortunately, she was playing the team all along after gaining the trust of Pride.
However, she was subsequently released early after sharing some vital intel with Pride.
It will be fun to see what her return does to the team dynamic and, of course, to Pride.

Before CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans wraps its seven-season run this spring, Special Agent Dwayne Pride will get a blast from his past when Callie Thorne puts in a final encore as the enigmatic Sasha Broussard, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Introduced in the Season 1 episode “Baitfish,” Sasha was initially seen as the “good one” in the New Orleans-based Broussard crime family. But over time and two more Season 1 appearances, it became clear she was to be reckoned with as well, as she proved to be a recurring thorn in Pride’s (played by Scott Bakula) side.

One thing's for sure: there's never a dull moment in the Reagan family.
On Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 1, Frank and Henry staged an argument at the family dinner, but it wasn't too far off from the real thing.
And between Frank, Erin, Danny, and Jamie, there were more than enough dramatic decisions to go around!
Let's start with the obvious: Danny and Maggie's interest in each other goes beyond working on cases.
I figured that their relationship would go in this direction sooner or later. It's been two years since Linda's death and Maggie keeps popping up in Danny's life, so where else could this go?
Related: Blue Bloods Season 10: Should Viewers Be Part of Eddie and Jamie's Full Wedding?
The only surprise was Baez's reaction.
She seemed annoyed every time she and Maggie crossed paths, and it wasn't just because she thought Maggie was wasting their time with this case.

Some men believe they have a Constitutional right to sex with any woman any time they want it, regardless of her opinion of the matter.
They get online in their mothers' basements and make plans to rape each others' rejects.
According to Law & Order: Svu Season 20 Episode 4, there's a whole subculture of men like this who are more or less domestic terrorists, breaking into homes, attacking boyfriends and husbands, and raping women who live there.
I'd like to think this is just fiction, but unfortunately, that's not the case. "Incels" really exist, really do feel entitled to sex, and really do endorse violence against sexually active people. This sub-group is so violent that the Southern Poverty Law Center includes it on its list of hate groups.
I'm glad Law & Order: Svu shined its light on this little-known corner of the dark web.

Someone managed to get Detective Frank Pembleton back in the box.
Members of the cast and production team of the critically acclaimed NBC drama “Homicide: Life on the Street” came together at the Paley Center in New York to talk about the distinctive drama that flouted many of the conventions of network TV. The main focus of the show, which ran between 1993 and 1999, was on how Baltimore police detectives passed the time while trying to solve murders. But there were few car chases, shootings or dramatic arrest scenes. “Every episode was like an affront to network television,” noted Andre Braugher, who played Detective Pembleton on the program and came to wider fame while working on it.
Producer Barry Levinson, showrunner Tom Fontana, producers Julie Martin and Anya Epstein; cast members Richard Belzer, Braugher and Clark Johnson; and writer David Simon, whose book, “Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets,” became the inspiration for the program,...

This year's Atx Television Festival lineup has just gotten even more awesome: The cast of "The West Wing" is one of several new additions now set for a reunion at the event.
Atx Fest announced its updated lineup on Thursday, and the most exciting name is easily "The West Wing," NBC's political drama that ran for seven seasons and racked up multiple Emmy wins (and stole viewers' hearts) from 1999 to 2006. Creator and original showrunner Aaron Sorkin is set to appear, as are the following cast members: Bradley Whitford (Josh), Dule Hill (Charlie), Joshua Malina (Will), Richard Schiff (Toby), and Janel Moloney (Donna).
More actors are expected to join the panel (after all, you can't call it a proper "West Wing" reunion without President Bartlett and C.J. Cregg, a.k.a. Martin Sheen and Allison Janney), which also includes director Thomas Schlamme. The participants will gather in honor of the...

A review of tonight's "The Americans" coming up just as soon as my tickets for Debussy's Symphony in B minor are available for pick up at the box office... "Do I want certain things for her? Yeah. All parents do." -Elizabeth "Dimebag" didn't have anything as physically upsetting as last week's amateur dentistry, or the previous episode's lesson in proper suitcase packing, but it was about as squirm-inducing on an emotional level. "The Americans" can provide visceral shocks, but what's so great about the series is that it can dig so much deeper, and make the most upsetting things be about conflicts between the characters, and about the terrible decisions they have to make because of their work. Philip and Elizabeth have been waging a cold war all season over Paige's future, and things in that arena grow even more complicated this week, at both home and work. Paige's...
