Tommy Tallarico is an American video game musician and sound designer. His first musical work was at Virgin Interactive Entertainment for the Game Boy version of
Prince of Persia (1989). Since then, he worked as a sound producer on many games published by Virgin Interactive, including
Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators (1992),
RoboCop versus The Terminator (1993),
Aladdin (1993), and
Earthworm Jim (1994). In 1994, he founded Tommy Tallarico Studios Inc. that collaborated with numerous developers and publishers on video games like
MDK (1997),
Spider-Man (2000),
Maximo vs. Army of Zin (2003), and
Advent Rising (2005).
Besides his composing contributions, Tallarico and
Jack Wall co-created Video Games Live in 2002 and served as creative director of its concert performances. Since its debut in 2005, Video Games Live has performed over 500 shows in 42 countries by 2022. In 2018, he was appointed as the president of Intellivision Entertainment and worked on a new video game console, Intellivision Amico.
