- Vladimir Svetozarov is Russian artist and art director. The son of film director Iosif Kheifits, and brother of film director Dmitriy Svetozarov. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2003). Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2003). At school Vladimir started studying right away from the second grade and graduated at the age of 15. His father brought him to the Lenfilm film studio, where the teenager began working as a third-rate property master. Upon returning from the army he became a decorator. In 1972 he graduated from LGITMiK with a degree in theater artist. Since 1973 - art director of the film studio "Lenfilm". Participated in the creation of well-known films: Heart of a Dog (1988) (directed by Vladimir Bortko), Fantazii Faryateva (1982), Other People's Letters (1976), Obyasneniye v lyubvi (1978) (directed by Ilya Averbakh), Patsany (1983), Klyuch bez prava peredachi (1977) (directed by Dinara Asanova) and others.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Bazza the Beast
- 2006 - Golden Eagle Award for the best work of art director (the film "Turkish Gambit").
