"Star Trek: Enterprise" soldiered on for four seasons, but really, the death knell happened early in season 2. The season's ratings peaked with its fifth episode, "A Night In Sickbay," at 6.26 million — and apparently, that infamous episode drove off potential audiences since the ratings on "Enterprise" never reached those same heights.
This might be why the tail end of season 2 features an obvious ratings stunt (and one that seemed destined to drive canon-obsessed Trekkies up the wall). "Regeneration" features the Borg as the villains. Contemporary promos warned viewers to, "Prepare for Enterprise's first encounter with — The Borg!" and emphasized how terrifying the cyborg hive mind is. The network definitely wanted people to know the Borg would be showing up ahead of time.
Did it work? Well, "Regeneration" pulled in 4.12 million viewers — the highest ratings since "Future Tense" and higher than the season's remaining episodes. But was this short bump worth it?...

The 2001 series "Star Trek: Enterprise" takes place about a century before the events of the original "Star Trek," and a lot of the technologies Trekkies took for granted hadn't been invented yet. Transporters, for instance, weren't yet safe for human use. Starships didn't have shields and instead were equipped with specialized hull plating that needed to be polarized to deflect phase cannon blasts. Instead of tractor beams, the Enterprise had grappling hooks. And, because Earth hadn't yet encountered too many alien species, there wasn't yet a workable universal translator.
That's where Ensign Hoshi Sato (Linda Park) came in. Ensign Sato was a language wunderkind whose ear for language and knack for syntax proved invaluable for making first contact with alien species. She was, however, only 22 years old when she joined the crew of the Enterprise and, like the rest of the crew, had no deep space experience. Ensign Sato was...

It's been a busy few years for Jersey Shore Family Vacation star Mike Sorrentino and his siblings. One of them got married, another came out of the closet, and another got busted for tax evasion. So where is The Situation's sister now? And where are his brothers? We've got the details below. For starters, Melissa Sorrentino, Mike's younger sister, married Michael Sussman in 2015. (You might remember seeing Michael in the family's short-lived 2014 reality show, The Sorrentinos.) We even saw her pick out a gown on a 2016 episode of Say Yes to the Dress. ("What kind of wedding do I want my sister to have?" Mike said in a sit-down with her on that show. "In one word, I would like it to be perfect. In another word, beautiful. Magical.") Since then, Melissa seems to have been radio silent on social media, so we hope she's enjoying marital bliss. Mike's older brother Frank Jr.

The curse of brilliancy is the burden of the few and the gifted. It is a double-edged sword that can be used both to help and harm simultaneously. But in the world of Dr. Daniel Pierce, his genius is a remarkable gift that he shares with his students and those who seek his aid. When asked to assist a former student who now works with the FBI, he willing offers his services, but as everyone begins to learn, his grasp on his own personal reality is tenuous at best. In a recent press conference call, star Eric McCormack talked about what attracted him to the complex, volatile role and what he sees ahead in the world of Perception.

News of the fate of “Legend of the Seeker”, the syndicated fantasy series based on the Terry Goodkind novels, has kept fans on edge since word came last month that the Tribune Station Group had dropped the series. According to EW, “multiple sources” had reported that the Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert produced series had indeed been cancelled. ABC had reportedly shopped the show around but “they found no takers.”
Initially, writer and co-executive producer, Mike Sussman addressed fans in a tweet: “Everyone, please, chillax. #LegendOfTheSeeker has *not* been cancelled. Plans are going on for season three,” but that particular tweet has since been removed from Sussman’s Twitter profile.
Executive producer Kenneth Biller was asked about the final season two episodes:
“The last four episodes, I think, are going to be a really compelling and satisfying epic payoff to the quest that was set up at the very beginning...
