Twitter has stepped up its efforts to remove official verification of accounts held by white nationalists and far-right activists such as Richard Spencer and noted Shakespeare-in-the-Park crasher Laura Loomer, TheWrap has learned. The purge follows the social media platform’s decision on Wednesday to remove the blue check mark on the account of white nationalist Jason Kessler, the organizer of last summer’s deadly rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Kessler’s official verification last week ignited a firestorm of criticism and led Twitter to unveil a sweeping update to its verification process with new guidelines for how verified users could be stripped of the coveted.

Luckily for “20/20,” ABC News started the report six months ago. “20/20” correspondent Tom Llamas spoke with Richard Spencer and Matthew Heimbach, leaders of two far right movements, and cameras followed them through several intense rallies and events that occurred in Charlottesville. One person died when an accused white supremacist plowed into a group of counter protestors and dozens were injured. And...

Nazi fop Richard Spencer can’t stop getting punched in the face, whether literally (by random humans on the street), journalistically (by investigators who uncovered he gets his money from an actual fucking cotton plantation), or even figuratively, by the very pop-culture artists he claims to love. First he confessed his life-long passion for Depeche Mode, to which the band replied with a curt, “Fuck off.” Then he attempted to claim Cabaret’s “Tomorrow Belongs To Me” for the “alt-right,” to which the song’s author’s nephew responded with another “fuck off.”
This same cycle has occurred with the greater “alt-right,” Spencer’s loose coalition of white supremacist trolls, who keep making polite overtures to pop-culture entities that want nothing to do with them. While the “alt-right” do have their own subset of bespoke, racist music, language, and media figures, they also are attempting to live in the world...

The internet has developed a small cottage industry out of repurposing footage of white nationalist and certified Bad Human Being Richard Spencer getting punched in the face last month on the day of the Trump inauguration. Now, Nazi punching videos are moving out of the realms of Giphy and YouTube and into the real world, with Gothamist reporting that a Nazi-punching film festival is in the works.
Organized by Brooklyn’s The New Inquiry, the 90-minute Fash Bash Bash will feature numerous film clips of National Socialists getting some chin music in the kisser. You can expect plenty of the usual cinematic suspects—Indiana Jones and Inglourious Basterds, for instance—but the event also promises more esoteric or archaic footage for the Hitler-hating film snobs in the audience. The festival is scheduled for this Saturday, February 4 in Brooklyn. Punch, apparently, will be served.

There has been much debate lately over whether or not it is okay to take delight in an act of violence against a reprehensible person—namely, the soaring sucker punch delivered on Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day to “alt-right” shitheel Richard Spencer. The vast majority of the internet agrees: Yeah, it is okay. A new video from Pop Culture Detective Agency performs a similar investigation, asking if it’s okay to delight in the pain of one of pop culture’s most famous metaphors for Nazism: Star Wars’ Stormtroopers.
A serious case is made that the character of Finn, played by John Boyega, represents a moment for the canon to break with its history of Stormtrooper slaughter. By humanizing a Stormtrooper and showing his capacity for morality and rebellion, the filmmakers suggest that such a metamorphosis could be possible for any Stormtrooper, and that, indeed, such a redemption was the...

American Horror Story: Freak Show, Episode 4, “Edward Mordrake (Part Two)”
Written by Jennifer Salt
Directed by Howard Deutch
Airs Wednesdays at 10pm Et on FX
American Horror Story: Freak Show has been making campy nods towards a variety of horror cliches throughout the season’s first three episodes, and “Edward Mordrake (Part Two)” points towards a new subset of the genre—torture porn. Even the most gruesome moments of the previous episodes carry a comic, winking touch to them that keeps them light (without allowing for a few chills). However, in “(Part Two),” the humor is replaced by a noticeably sadistic streak that’s neither as fun nor as scary as the previous tone.
The contrast is starkest in the Twisty and Dandy scenes. Whereas the Twisty segments in the first three episodes focus primarily on his hunts for victims, his scenes this week are exclusively about his torture of victims.

American Horror Story: Freak Show “Edward Mordrake (Part 2)" opened up with the phantom two-faced Edward Mordrake (Wes Bentley) continuing on his mission to find the freak his second face wants him to collect for their ghoulish menagerie.
'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Recap
When Mordrake sits down to listen to Legless Suzi’s (Rose Siggins) tale, she informs him that she was born with a spinal condition that led to the doctors taking her legs. Her parents, wanting nothing to do with her in the height of the Great Depression, dropped her off at a children’s home. Suzi's darkest moment, according to her, was killing a man merely because he had the legs she’d never get to walk upon. As for Paul the Seal (Mat Fraser), he, like Elsa, had dreams of Hollywood and would steal away to the cinema to watch the stars in action.

Reality TV star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth has traded in her producing and unscripted drama duties for a new role as West Coast Editor of Reality Weekly magazine. The glossy launched its premiere issue and companion website on Jan. 2 and serves as the first weekly magazine devoted exclusively to reality shows and their stars.
The former "Apprentice" and "Ultimate Merger" star will bring to the position her wealth of reality television experience of appearing in more than 20 shows, including the "Celebrity Apprentice," "Surreal Life," "Fear Factor" and "Girls Behaving Badly," and her duties will include attending exclusive red carpet events, show premieres, press junkets, and appearing as the publication's on-air correspondent to various news outlets.
"It's so interesting because I know reality television inside and out. And sometimes when I'm sitting in meetings they call me the 'reality encyclopedia,' because I've been in reality since early on," she recently explained to The Huffington Post.

Us Weekly offered its competitor In Touch Weekly either the biggest insult or compliment this week - depending on how you look at it. In its current issue, Us magazine ran a two page spread featuring In Touch's covers of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston for the last 4 years. On the one hand, the dek screams "Bogus breakups! Phony pregnancies! and Sham reunions!" On the other hand, In Touch does get the award for most inventive coverage," according to Us. When I spoke to Richard Spencer, editor in chief of In Touch, he said, "We're flattered they pay such attention to In Touch Weekly...and we stand by our reporting." Us Weekly is "letting the piece speak for itself." Why is In Touch obsessed with Pitt, Jolie & Aniston? When you look at the spread, it appears that...

Richard Desmond is having a hell of a time trying to find someone to run his foundering celebrity weekly, Ok!
