Legendary visionary Hideo Kojima has expressed his satisfaction with the live-action debut of Moon Knight on his show exclusively streaming on Disney+. Moon Knight follows the story of a former mercenary named Mark Spector and how he received powers from the Egyptian Moon God, Khonshu, and served as his avatar to exact his vengeance on those who mean harm while dealing with his other personality, Steven Grant and Jake Lockley.
The premise is definitely up the director’s alley, and this is the kind of story he finds interesting and the weirdness and spectacle is something he can relate to.

Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight is a great addition to the MCU.

The final episode of “Moon Knight” hit Disney+ on May 4, and left fans clamoring for more adventures with Oscar Isaac‘s Mark Spector and Stephen Grant (and Jake Lockley). But will there, in fact, be another season of “Moon Knight”? In an interview with Collider about his new comic book “Head Wounds: Sparrow,” Isaac divulged about the show’s future, and “at the moment, there’s no official word” another installment indeed happening.

“Ms. Marvel” is only the second Marvel Disney+ series to drop in 2022 and already it feels like a 180 degree heel-turn from the last one, “Moon Knight.” Where Oscar Isaac’s Mark Spector was moody and dark with barely any connection to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Ms. Marvel’s” main character Kamala Khan, played by the delightful Iman Vellani, is a bright, funny Avengers fangirl whose powers literally sparkle.
Ever since Kamala punched her way into comics in 2013 with her “embiggened” fist, the Pakistani-American teen has been one of the most popular original Marvel characters. Adapted to the screen by head writer Bisha K. Ali, not only is “Ms. Marvel” one of the most highly anticipated comic book adaptations to hit the streaming service, the character will make history as the first Muslim-American superhero show created for the franchise.

Spoiler Warning: This story discusses major plot points in Season 1, Episode 6 of “Moon Knight,” currently streaming on Disney+.
Throughout Marvel Studios’ “Moon Knight,” it’s been clear that the titular superhero at its center, played by Oscar Isaac, was contending with a profound issue with his mental health. Namely, his dissociative identity disorder had split his psyche into two people: Mark Spector, a hard-charging American mercenary, and Steven Grant, a mild-mannered British gift shop employee.
Savvy viewers of “Moon Knight,” however, have picked up on hints about Mark that fans of the Marvel comic series already know: Mark’s mind harbors a third identity. And in the final scene of the (possibly) final episode of “Moon Knight,” audiences finally got to meet him: Jake Lockley. In the comics, Jake is a street-wise cab driver, but on the show, the audience comes to suspect — after Mark or Steven has blacked out...

Marvel fans have had a pretty exciting year so far. The trailer for Ms. Marvel dropped just recently and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is just a few days away from hitting theaters. Now, we have Moon Knight, whose finale drops this week on Disney+ and takes the Marvel universe into a slightly darker, twisted direction. Oscar Isaac stars in the titular role and this show...

Graham Nash has slammed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for using his song “Chicago” in a promotional video for the anti-vax rally set for Washington, D.C. on Sunday.
The Csny legend took to Instagram Saturday to inform fans that Rfk Jr.’s use of the 1971 song — also known as “We Can Change the World” — was “not authorized” and that Nash has begun “taking steps to cause the cessation of its use.” Nash’s manager Mark Spector told Rolling Stone Saturday, “A cease-and-desist letter is in the works.”

Like nearly every working musician on the planet, Suzanne Vega knows firsthand the impact of the Covid-19 shutdown: An entire summer European tour — along with U.S. shows in October and November — were postponed until next year after live music abruptly stopped.
To help some of the struggling, now-empty venues where she would have played, Vega and her manager Mark Spector have announced a pair of livestreamed shows on Wednesday and Thursday at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club. Any venue that sells tickets to either show (by way...

If you haven't figured it out yet, Hamza Javed (hjaved.art) is our go-to guy when we want awesome artwork. He's worked on peices for Green Lantern, Ocean Master and even Mr. Sinister, but this time we have some artwork that's a little different. It's not fan-art of what such-and-such an actor would look like dressed up as a hero or villain; this one is more along the lines of a character portrait or cover. Hamza's Moon Knight / Mark Spector should have you dying for a Moon Knight series on Netflix, or his own solo movie, even if you don't know who Moon Knight is. Moon Knight was one of my favorites back in the 90s and I'm trying to get caught up with the more recent title (it's in a pile with all of the other comics that I can't seem to find time to read!). I've included some...

Comic Books 101: Six Marvel Comics Series You Should Be Reading!
Right now Marvel Comics are hurting in a big way. They haven’t been breaking the top 10 in sales, and DC is kicking their butt thanks to the big Rebirth initiative taking place. The indie market is getting saturated with some seriously top level books, and all of that combined with “event overload” is making Marvel seriously have to rethink their plans. I, personally put some blame on the horribly plotted Civil War II event taking place currently that many fans are turning on. Still there are a few diamonds in the rough however, and I will list six series right now that shouldn’t be missed, are not directly bogged down by Civil War II or any other event, and include some amazing creative teams.

Review: I don’t really get why this event is happening. I mean I get it in the sense of Captain America: Civil War is out in theaters and Marvel is I’m sure hoping to gain some traction from that, I get that the previous Civil War event was a big deal and its sort of “resurrection” during Secret Wars was popular, and I guess in the end Marvel just absolutely had to do another Civil War (See the term “Cash Grab”). However,...
