The 80s were a time when country music and a type of hero born of the good ol boy class that came into his own. This could be seen in shows like The Dukes of Hazzard, Bj and The Bear, as well as movies like Any Which Way But Loose and Smokey and the Bandit. They were a time of what would be considered fun action films and TV. Again, this was personified in shows where usually no one got seriously hurt, like The A-Team. The bad guys went to the same shooting school as your friendly neighborhood Stormtroopers. But, one TV show that would personify this “nobody better get hurt” adventure series was The Fall Guy.

The long-awaited first trailer for the upcoming Captain Marvel has proven an instant success, garnering over 30 million views and counting in these last three days alone. And while you may like to think that all these fans are looking to Carol Danvers as a beacon of hope in these chaotic times, the likelihood is that a good proportion of viewers are mainly there to check out the part where Brie Larson’s character punches an old lady in the face.
In all fairness, the old lady may not be an old lady at all, but a villainous member of the shape-shifting Skrulls, an alien race capable of taking the form of any human being. For those unaware of this deceptive species and Captain Marvel’s history with them, their first reaction to seeing Carol assaulting the elderly was shock and confusion, but it wasn’t long before the memes followed.

According to reports, writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz ("Thor", "X-Men: First Class") are developing a new screenplay based on the action/adventure, stunt man TV series "The Fall Guy" for the husband-wife team of DreamWorks' producers Walter F. Parkes ("Gladiator") and Laurie MacDonald ("Men In Black III").
ABC's "The Fall Guy", created by Glen A. Larson ("Battlestar Galactica") originally aired November 4, 1981 to May 2, 1986, starring actors Lee Majors, Douglas Barr and Heather Thomas :
"...'Colt Seavers', a Hollywood stunt man who moonlights as a bounty hunter, uses his physical skills and knowledge of stunt effects to capture fugitives and criminals, accompanied by his cousin and stuntman-in-training 'Howie Munson' and female stunt performer 'Jody Banks'..."
Typically, each episode would start with a voice-over introduction from Seavers explaining the precarious life of a Hollywood stuntman, how he is unable to make a full-time living from stunt work and forced to moonlight as a bounty hunter.
