At one point, the biggest story surrounding Back in Action was the return of Cameron Diaz, who hadn’t released a movie since 2014. But when Jamie Foxx was taken to the hospital for a “medical complication”, the attention shifted to that star. But the media redirecting their focus to Foxx and his mysterious illness wasn’t the issue for Diaz. It was the rumors and speculation about delays and her co-star’s onset behavior – all of which she is debunking.
While cameras rolled on Back in Action, word circulated that Jamie Foxx was the cause for a “miserable” on-set environment, nonsense which Cameron Diaz has no tolerance for, telling Molly Sims on her podcast (via The Hollywood Reporter), “I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set…You just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?’” She added,...

Viva Las Vegas! The 2000s-era NBC drama will soon — for the first time ever — be available for fans to stream. Las Vegas will join Peacock’s streaming library on Friday, December 29, according to TVLine. Airing more than 100 episodes between 2003 and 2008, Las Vegas followed an elite surveillance team keeping order at the (fictional) Montecito Resort & Casino, a premier Sin City destination. The late James Caan starred as Montecito security head Ed Deline, with Josh Duhamel playing his protégé, former U.S. Marine Danny McCoy. Together, Ed and Danny dealt with “card-counting cheaters, costly streaks of random luck, and rival casinos stealing their big-money players,” as NBC explained. But Ed and Danny’s relationship was also complicated by the former finding the latter in bed with his daughter, Delinda Deline (Molly Sims). Other Montecito regulars included the high-priced escort Mary Connell (Nikki Cox), the all-knowing valet Mike Cannon (James Lesure), pit boss...

Chances are, if you’ve seen Sia onstage at any point in recent years, her face was most likely shielded by an oversize (and often very colorful) wig. But the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter left the extra hair at home Sunday when she turned up to the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles to attend the 5th Daytime Beauty Awards.
Not only did she take the stage and show off her full face, but what she revealed under the lights was also brand-new. “I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about shit,” explained the 47-year-old who has been candid during interviews about everything from depression and divorce to sobriety and creativity. “I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work — and not just for the pop stars of the world.”

ABC is working to bring back Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to the network after the format’s brief dalliance with HGTV.
The network is developing a reboot of the series, which ran on ABC between 2004 and 2012, with Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, who created global lifestyle brand The Home Edit.

The duo previously fronted two seasons of Netflix’s Get Organized with the Home Edit.
After ABC canceled the show – itself a spinoff of Extreme Makeover – in 2012, HGTV rebooted the series with Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson for one season in 2020.
In each episode Shearer and Teplin will meet a deserving family in need of a new home or a major renovation. A team of builders, contractors, and design experts will assist them on each big makeover project, ultimately transforming the home based on the family’s lifestyle and needs. The pair...

“Everybody looks so great. When I look around this room, I can’t help but wonder, ‘Is Ozempic right for me?’ ” joked Jimmy Kimmel while hosting the 95th Academy Awards. Of course, Kimmel was referencing Hollywood’s sweeping off-label use of the injectable diabetes drug — as well as similar drugs Mounjaro and Wegovy — to rapidly shed pounds by suppressing appetite and slowing digestion.
One unintended side effect of the drug (which can also cause gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting and diarrhea) is “Ozempic face” — a term coined by cosmetic dermatologist Paul Jarrod Frank to describe the gaunt look resulting from sudden volume loss, which some plastic surgeons are combatting with fat transfers (often taken from the hips or abdomen). And now doctors are seeing “Ozempic body,” where quick weight loss results in head-to-toe laxity of skin.

Ashley Graham, Demi Lovato, Olivia Munn and Lizzo are among the stars who have posted cellulite-revealing selfies on social media while speaking out to celebrate being perfectly imperfect. “I have cellulite,” Amy Schumer has said, “and I still deserve love.”
Others in the spotlight continue to search for minimally invasive solutions to get rid of that stubborn dimpled skin — found primarily on thighs, buttocks and the stomach. Cellulite is most prevalent in women (because of the distribution of fat, muscle and connective tissue) and occurs when fibrous, lattice-like connective cords pull down, pocketing fat in between. So all the topical creams, massaging and dry brushing in the world won’t make a difference.
But recent advances in nonsurgical skin-toning and tightening devices, along with Qwo — the first Fda-approved injectable enzyme treatment for cellulite on the buttocks — offer an array of promising cellulite-busting tools.

Lauren Conrad and Hannah Skvarla initially crossed paths in 2005 when both were enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Irvine, California. Conrad, then on MTV’s The Hills, filmed some scenes for the show on campus. “We bonded over a shared love of fashion and, later, traveling and empowering women,” Skvarla says. “We wanted to find a unique and meaningful way to give back.”
After visiting several women-oriented nonprofits in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, the two Orange County natives saw an opportunity “to create something where there was no limit geographically to the number of women we helped,” says Skvarla, explaining how they reconnected to a passion for sourcing special, handcrafted goods at global markets.
Their shared mission translated into the nonprofit, online fair-trade shop The Little Market, founded in 2013 to economically and socially support women artisans and their families in underserved communities worldwide.

Dwayne Johnson’s new movie for Netflix, “Red Notice,” stars three of the biggest celebrities on the planet — Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot — and is one of many Hollywood films that feature firearms for the sake of action-packed storylines.
“Red Notice,” which launches on the streaming service on Nov. 12, followed very careful safety protocols on-set, as most productions do. But after the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Alec Baldwin’s film “Rust,” Johnson is pledging to stop using real firearms on all projects that are produced by his company, Seven Bucks Productions.
“First of all, I was heartbroken,” Johnson began, speaking to Variety at Wednesday night’s premiere of “Red Notice” in Los Angeles. “We lost a life. My heart goes out to her family and everybody on set. I’ve known Alec, too, for a very long time.”

“The Last Mrs. Parrish,” a best-selling novel about a twisted con-artist, is getting the movie treatment at Netflix.
The streaming service landed the rights to the novel, written by Liv Constantine, and plans to adapt it into a feature film. Amazon in 2019 announced it was developing a TV series based on the book, but the project has since been scrapped.
“The Last Mrs. Parrish,” a Reese Witherspoon’s book club pick, has sold over half a million copies and has been published in over 30 countries. The story, a psychological thriller, centers on a con-woman who targets a wealthy couple — the Parrishes — as her next victims. She infiltrates the pair by befriending the wife and seducing the husband, with the master plan of becoming the next Mrs. Parrish, only to discover that the wife’s life is far more complicated than she could have imagined. Casting has not been announced yet.

Netflix is officially in the building.
With both Jane Campion’s “The Power of the Dog” and Paolo Sorrentino’s “The Hand of God” playing at the festival, the streaming giant made its splashy debut on the Lido on Thursday, holding an exclusive reception in the afternoon for their top executives and partners at the chic Hotel Excelsior.
Netflix film boss Scott Stuber, a recent Variety cover star, arrived at the party with his wife, the actor and model Molly Sims — and was greeted almost immediately by Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux. The irony was not lost on attendees, considering the streamer hasn’t premiered anything at Cannes since 2017, when Bong Joon Ho’s “Okja” and Noah Baumbach’s “The Meyerowitz Stories” marked the streamer’s first and last turn on the Croisette. (The festival quickly changed its rules following a fierce backlash by French exhibitors demanding that competition...
