Brett Tuggle, a journeyman keyboardist who logged two decades in Fleetwood Mac during their reunion era and also served as a founding member of the David Lee Roth Band in the Eighties, died June 19 from complications related to cancer. He was 70.
Tuggle’s son Matt confirmed his death to Rolling Stone. “He was loved by his family so much,” Matt says. “His family was with him throughout the entire time of his illness. He was a lovely father. He gave me music in my life.”

For the past 20 years, Styx have put their fans in an impossible situation. Anyone who attends one of their shows not only misses out on seeing founder and ex-frontman Dennis DeYoung, but the current lineup doesn’t even play many of the hit songs he wrote and sang, including “Babe” and “The Best of Times.” They only recently gave in to years of pressure and added “Mr. Roboto” into the set.
DeYoung plays everything in the Styx catalog at his solo gigs, but he doesn’t have the name or...

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is, by any measure, gargantuan. It’s at the $195 million mark at the U.S. box office and just got a turbo boost heading toward the magic $200M mark, with a post-Golden Globes expansion back into 1,300 theaters set for Friday, including a new “sing-along” version set for more than 750 screens. Its foreign grosses sit at $553 million. That’s big — bigger than the robot on the cover of “News of the World.” Bigger than Brian May’s stacks of Vox amps. Bigger than Rami Malek’s dentures. Big, we tell you.
But you know what’s even more behemoth than “Bohemian”? Queen.
Maybe that seems like an obvious point, but maybe not. There is a fair amount of myth-making in “Bohemian Rhapsody,” as detractors focused on ways in which the story departs from the historical record have pointed out. But there are some myths around the film itself, and...

Icons of 1970s FM rock radio, Chicago-based Styx, were and still are rocking in the free world and at the top of their game, despite a fractious history that involves a founding member, Dennis DeYoung. How much do you know about Tommy Shaw, James “Jy” Young, and Lawrence Gowan of the chart-topping band? The guys sit down with Dan Rather tonight for a revealing chat. With four consecutive multiplatinum records, the guys may be pensioner-aged, but they have no intentions of retiring. Asked by Rather why they still continue to do what they do, frontman Lawrence Gowan quipped: “We’re completely unqualified […]

Activision and the "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" team paced themselves publicizing the full set list of more than 90 tracks that's slated to appear in the game, but they've put it all out there as of this week, and before you even make it to Soundgarden's full "Telephantasm" album that's coming bundled in the first shipment of units, you'll have a long list of core game tunes to thrash through including The Hives' "Tick Tick Boom" and multiple Megadeth and Rush numbers.
"We engaged our fans to find out what they really wanted and then hand-picked over 90 tracks that deliver the ultimate rock experience," Guitar Hero vice president of music affairs Tim Riley said in a press release. "From the new guitar controller to the gameplay to the on-disc set list, 'Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock' is truly a return to rock."

Activision and Neversoft haven't publicized all of the "90 plus" tracks it's promised for "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" yet, but they have gotten about two thirds of the way there since our last update. Rush fans should be especially pleased by the list after the jump, which contains every track confirmed thus far.

How does a former New York cop become one of the most successful rock 'n roll recording artists of two decades? Eddie Money can tell you firsthand. With over 18 million records sold, Eddie rocked the charts during the 70's and 80's with songs like Take Me Home, Shakin', Two Tickets To Paradise, Hold On, Think I'm In Love, Gimme Some Water, and Can't Keep a Good Man Down. As a singer, songwriter, and musician, Eddie has been dubbed "the hardest working man in show business" and "the blue-collar rocker." He's worked long and hard with some of the biggest names in the industry, and hasn't stopped for a New York second. With a current tour underway, he's drawing crowds once again, and working on getting his play Two Tickets to Paradise produced on Broadway. The show chronicles Eddie's life from his teen years through the late 70's when he burst onto the music scene.

‘Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins’ is one of those classic films from the ’80s that never turned into the franchise it had potential for. Based on the series of paperback novels, The Destroyer, it told the story of a cop whose death is faked in order to turn him into an government assassin.
In 1985, Orion Pictures took The Destroyer and its lead character and turned it into a feature film starring Fred Ward as Williams. Guy Hamilton, the director behind such classic, James Bond films as ‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘The Man With the Golden Gun,’ was even behind the film, but it failed to make an impace with audience. It pulled in a domestic take of $14 million against an estimated $40 million budget.
Now, nearly a quarter of a century after ‘Remo Williams,’ it looks like The Destroyer is getting a second chance at the big screen. Risky Biz...
