Her dad, Clint Eastwood, was in attendance as the animal rights advocate and producer married Stacy Poitras on Friday, March 15. Animal advocate crusader Alison Eastwood, animal expert Donald Schultz, and activist Billy McNamara together collaborated on "Animal Intervention" for Nat Geo Wild, as they investigated cases of wild animals living in peril. The team investigated cases of reported distress or abuse with exotic animal owners in question to discuss possible relocations to safe and clean animal sanctuaries. They also investigated cases of mistreated wild animals at magic shows, roadside zoos, and private ranches. People magazine reported that Eastwood and her new husband met when Alison rode...

Some of you may have noticed that Pajiba After Dark is showing up earlier. Or not, whatever, Pajiba After Dark doesn't need your attention to feel good about itself because Pajiba After Dark is beautiful no matter what you say. If you haven't, I'm letting you know so you can have the opportunity to better plan your evening's television watching and/or Intern bashing for those of you who are into that sort of thing. Here's your Thursday night TV:
8:00pm: "American Idol" on Fox. Someone gave me a bit of shit last night for my comment that I never feel more disconnected from the average American as I do when this show is airing. To be clear, I didn't mean this as any kind of judgement on relative levels of intellect, but that I'm bewildered as to why people have been so consistently captivated by what is basically a glorified open mic night.

Most people would run miles, and then run a little more, if they encountered a venomous snake. Not Donald Schultz, though, and in this series he tries to get very close to them indeed…. We've seen some daft things in our time – insert obligatory Jedward comment here – but hardly anything matches the antics of Donald Schultz, who all but writes snakes an invitation with an attached RSVP to give him a jolly good biting.

Donald Schultz has a job some would envy — traveling to remote locales like Tanzania, Jordan and Fiji to hunt down poisonous animals and collect their venom for scientists conducting lifesaving research.
His adventures are chronicled in the Animal Planet series Wild Recon. In an exclusive interview, he says of the series, "I've taken everything near and dear to my heart, and people that I love, and made a show where we get to do the coolest things in the best countries with the best animals and there's no compromise."
