Reliable sources reveal that the film is a tale of four brothers, played by Arvind Swami, Str, Arun Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. It would be interesting to see these four performers putting their best foot forward. The film also features Prakash Raj, Thiagarajan, Jayasudha, Mansoor Ali Khan and newcomer Dayana Erappa as part of the supporting cast. The film is produced jointly by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and A Subhashkaran’s Lyca Productions on a huge budget. While the team is waiting for the strike to be called off to resume shooting, we hear from reliable sources that Mani Ratnam had completed four weeks of shooting, in which he has shot some important sequences. Reports say that the film will have a wedding sequence featuring Jyothika and Arvind Swamy that was shot recently at a location on the Ecr. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which is based on industrial and environmental pollution, is expected to be wrapped in three months and the film is likely to release this year. Various industry sources have confirmed that the film will be an action-thriller and a departure from the filmmaker’s usual style of films. The film features an ensemble cast of stars, including Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Mansoor Ali Khan and Thiagarajan. The first edition of the Mumbai Women’s International Film Festival, organized by Oculus Creations and supported by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (Mtdc) will commence on 8th October. The main idea of this festival is to boost female filmmakers in the industry.
This cause has been largely supported by Bollywood and some of them are Zoya Akhtar, Nandita Das, Reema Kagti, Farah Khan, Renuka Shahane, Honey Irani and Sumitra Bhave. These influential women will contribute to this cause by visiting the fest or by screening their films.
A few workshops have been organized by Piyush Mishra, Honey Irani, Aparna Sud, Rachna Rastogi, Sharmishta Roy, Anjum Rajabali, Alankrita Srivastav, Shaan, Kamlesh Pandey, K.U Mohanan, Ashima Chhiber, Dr. Achala Nagar and Aruna Raje.

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif have arrived in London to film Yash Chopra’s untitled next in the British capital. The film is a contemporary love story which also stars Anushka Sharma in a pivotal role.
The two actors began filming yesterday (22nd February 2012) and are currently shooting scenes outdoor at undisclosed Central London locations.
The film produced by Yash Raj Films is tentatively called ‘Production 45′ by the production house.

When Shah Rukh Khan shoots, everyone would give an arm and a leg to be present on the sets. However just before the shooting of My Name Is Khan began in Filmcity, Karan Johar taken aback by the presence of an extremely slimy and uninvited guest on the sets - a full grown water snake.Recounts Karan, .Yes, a snake was spotted when the set was being made. Our production designer Sharmista Roy was on the sets but the others said we should not harm the snake because they are considered a good omen. So we respected that belief and it was allowed to go away on its own..But what the filmmaker hadn.t accounted for was the snake.s second visit. And it couldn.t have come at a worse time. A major sequence was being shot inside a specially constructed tank at Kranti maidaan in Film City.

A huge set for Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan is being erected in Mumbai’s Bandra based Mehboob Studios. Art director Sharmistha Roy who has done most of Karan Johar’s films is the designer of this set. The studio has been booked for the film till April 17th but still its not yet confirmed when the shoot shall began. That is because Shah Rukh Khan is still recuperating from his shoulder surgery that took place last month.
