A couple months back we reported that production was getting ready to begin on a new thriller titled Containment, and today we've gotten word that filming is indeed under way. Read on for the latest!
Screen Daily reports that the sci-fi flick's shoot has just kicked off over in the British city of Southampton. The script was written by David Lemon, and the film marks the feature debut of Neil West.
Containment tells the tale of an artist who wakes one morning to discover that the doors and windows of his apartment have been sealed shut.
Other cast members include Lee Ross, Sheila Reid, Andrew Leung, Gabriel Senior, William Postlethwaite, Louise Brealey, and Pippa Nixon.
The low-budget film is financed by Bandoola Productions, a new finance vehicle set up by entrepreneur Simon Sole. It's produced by Casey Herbert and Pete Smyth’s Bright Cold Day Films and Christine Hartland’s Patchwork Productions.

"The Walking Dead" star David Morrissey is set to top line the three-part TV thriller "The Driver" for The BBC. Danny Brocklehurst ("Shameless") is penning the script and shooting starts in and around Manchester this week.

The Walking Dead actor will play taxi driver Vince McKee - an ordinary man who makes a terrible decision - in the three-part serial.
The Driver - from Accused writer Danny Brocklehurst - will follow Vince as he takes a job driving for a criminal gang and later seeks redemption for his sins.
Former Coronation Street actress Sacha Parkinson will play Vince's daughter Katie, with Claudie Blakeley (What Remains) cast as his wife Ros.
