Scarlett Byrne, who played Pansy Parkinson in the final three Harry Potter movies, has joined the cast of TNT‘s alien drama Falling Skies as a new series regular. She plays a mysterious young woman with special powers and an unusual connection to the alien invaders. Byrne’s character, who is said to be key to the story next season, is featured in the final frame (pictured right) of the recently released first Season 4 trailer. (You can watch it below). Byrne, repped by the Bwh Agency, Schumacher Management, and Hansen Jacobsen, recently wrapped the feature Skybound. Argentinian Juan Pablo di Pace (NBC‘s Camp) has joined TNT‘s soapy drama Dallas as new regular. He will play Nicolas Treviño, a powerful self-made billionaire businessman who comes across as a good, genuine guy, even though there are darker parts of his personality which he’s hiding. He is repped by Paula Rosenberg and Jamie Feldman.

Exclusive: After an extensive search, British actor Adam Rayner has been cast as the lead in the high-profile drama pilot Tyrant, from Homeland executive producers Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff and Six Feet Under alum Craig Wright. Created by Raff, developed by Gordon and Wright and to be directed by David Yates, FX’s Tyrant tells the story of an unassuming American family — Barry (Rayner), Molly and their kids — drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle East nation. Gordon, Raff and Wright executive produce in association with Keshet Broadcasting. The Fox 21-produced project, which will film the pilot in Morocco, has a big commitment at FX and is expected to go to series. Rayner, repped by Paula Rosenberg, Innovative Artists and attorney Jamie Feldman, recently played the title role in the Simon West-directed pilot The Saint. He also co-starred opposite Melissa George on the Cinemax/BBC spy drama Hunted.
