Principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VII is now complete, and we're that much closer to seeing this highly anticipated sci-fi sequel hit the big screen. We still have over a year until the film hits theaters in 2015, but there have been rumblings that we might see a teaser trailer before the year is over, and with shooting now complete, that's not entirely out of the question. Now that filming is finished, we're just hoping for some kind of official first look other than the various Unicef videos and charity notes that have come from the set of the film. But until then, here's the note the crew received on the last day of filming. Here's a Twitter update from James Rose showing off the note on wrap day: Last day on set for some friends today! #StarWarsEpisodeVII #StarWars pic.twitter.com/ydrxbdpGS5— James Rose (@AdmiralPellaeon) October 31, 2014 With production now complete and the December 18th,...

It looks as though production is finishing on "Star Wars: Episode VII" as much of the film's crew turned out for a big celebration at London's Science Museum on Saturday night for what's speculated to be the wrap party.
J.J. Abrams, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis and John Boyega were all in attendance for the bash which happened around the time that the production was said to be wrapping according to producer Kathleen Kennedy.
Heat Vision adds that they've heard that today (Nov 3rd) is the final day of production. Also confirming the end is a note that has been passed around on Twitter. Here's the wording:

Last day on the job it.s usually customary for an employee to receive a parting gift. A 22k-gold plated carriage clock. A pair of cufflinks for a button-less shirt you don.t own. Or some kind of frosted monstrosity baked by Liz in Hr. In the case of the Star Wars: Episode VII crew however, what kind of parting souvenir could they have gifted on their final day of filming? To acknowledge all their hard work over the past year in bringing this sequel to the big screen, director J.J. Abrams, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and producer Bryan Burk sent a thank you note to the "extraordinary cast and crew of Star Wars: Episode VII." James Rose shared the note on Twitter in a photo, which from what we can see if we squint really hard, also features a Star Wars: Episode VII crew hat in the background. ...

Late night D-fw newscasts and sports specials were all over the Cowboys, of course, with Fox4 reporter James Rose the first to say, "I felt like I was at a funeral" as grieving fans filed out of Texas Stadium. ...Addendum -- Faithful readers of unclebarky.com know that its proprietor is a Wisconsin-born true believer in the Green Bay Packers, who now will get to face the Giants at frigid Lambeau Field rather than the Cowboys at Texas Stadium, where Qb Brett Favre has never won.
