It will be available to watch on VOD starting this June if anyone is interested. A law student finds himself in a twisted web of murder and deceit brought on by a dark force from his past. Directed by Vincent Shade, the film stars Rj Mitte, Christian Stolte, William Mark McCullough, Jennifer A. Goodman, Sue Cremin, Candice Rose, Kimberly Michelle Vaughn, and Rebekah Kennedy. Writer / producer Jennifer A. Goodman explains the idea behind this: "As a person on the autism spectrum who has struggled throughout my life, I am honored to be able to bring this film to a large audience, supporting people whose voices may go unheard through my work and to open up peoples’ perspectives to a whole universe of creativity.

Goodman wrote, starred in, and produced the film under her banner Lakefront Pictures alongside Co-Founder Ryan Atkins who also oversaw post-production. Gravitas will release the supernatural thriller in June 2023 in theaters and on demand.

A new poster for After Dark Original Husk is available courtesy of Dread Central. The frame shows a scarecrow strapped to a cross, while a crow beckons "join the harvest" (Husk). After Dark Films is producing several horror original features with their partner the SyFy channel. Details for all the films are coming in bit by bit, but for Husk there is a full synopsis shown below.

"The story sees five friends on a weekend trip who become stranded in isolated farmland when crows attack their SUV. They soon realize that the cornfields are inhabited by reanimated human scarecrows who reproduce by killing and forcing their undead victims to join their ranks" (Dread).
