Pleasant, if not completely convoluted with too many characters and not enough development with any, the family ensemble comedy Almost Christmas is well-meaning and not without its moments, as recycled as they are. Written and directed by David E. Talbert, the film is slightly more insightful than his 2013 feature Baggage Claim, even if it’s equally as trite.
Set in a Birmingham, Alabama that looks a lot like that Mecca of generous production tax incentives, Atlanta, the film leisurely strolls through the years in the life of the Meyers family and its patriarch Walter (Danny Glover). A few months after the death of his wife he finds himself alone in a large house, preparing for the holidays.
His kids include Rachel (Gabrielle Union), a divorced law student, her sister Cheryl (Kimberly Elise), who is married to a former (international) basketball star Lonnie (Jb Smoove), Christian (Romany Malco) and current college...

So adorable! A 5-year-old girl skipped out on the choreography of her kindergarten holiday concert so that she could enthusiastically sing, sign, and fingerspell the spirited lyrics to songs so her hearing impaired parents could enjoy the show! See the amazing video, here.
Claire Koch is giving us so many reasons to smile this holiday season: the 5-year-old Florida kindergartener honored her parents, who are both deaf, by signing with real Asl along to the lyrics of “Jingle Bells,” “Santa Was His Name-o,” and more Christmas hits during her school’s concert — because she didn’t want her parents to miss out on the holiday fun!
Girl Signs Holiday Concert: Claire Koch Honors Parents With Asl
Claire’s parents were shocked that their daughter chose to use real American Sign Language to accompany her performance instead of the choreographed hand movements of the school show, and proudly filmed her performance for YouTube.

Fancy watching some poor punter getting a back, sack and crack from Rustie Lee? Want a waxing from Helen Flanagan? Is Arg from Towie delivering pedicures what you've been waiting for all these years? Well, wait no more people. Celebrity Super Spa has arrived.
I've already had the joy of watching episode one of Super Spa. I've seen the awkward and cringeworthy hosts. I've seen Helen Flanagan prancing around without any trousers on. I've seen Rustie Lee cackling. 867 times.
And I'll probably watch it all over again tonight (September 13) when it airs on Channel 5. Firstly, because I'm a glutton for terrible television. Secondly, because I'm fairly convinced it may be the most desperate celebrity reality show ever concieved. Even by Channel 5's late night standards, this is awful. It makes The Bachelor look like The Sopranos.
So where does the show fit in the history of degrading and embarrassing celebrity reality shows?...

Six days after being admitted for seizures, Lil Wayne remains in the intensive care unit of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
TMZ reports that Weezy's condition has not improved following his reported drug overdose on "sizzurp," also known as "purple drank," a concoction that includes prescription-strength cough syrup mixed with lemon-lime soda and Jolly Ranchers. The 30-year-old rapper has become famous for his association with the drug, which he recently said he's been trying to quit.
“They’ve done the tests, and they did tests last year,” a friend close to the rapper told The Daily Beast. “They even gave him seizure medicine last year that was supposed to help. It did for a while, but I’m not sure how much Wayne takes care of himself when no one is around.”

This is just awful and very sad news. Usher's 11-year-old stepson has been declared brain dead after he was struck by a jet ski on Saturday. Doctors confirm to TMZ that the boy, Kyle Glover, has not experienced any brain activity since being rushed to the hospital.
The incident happened on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Ga. Though Usher and his estranged wife Tameka Foster have been battling it out in court for custody of their two twin sons, that negativity hasn't stopped the entertainer from rushing to Kyle's bedside during this difficult time.
Usher has had quite a year so far. Besides Kyle and his divorce settlement, he also made a call to 911 recently reporting about a trespasser at his home.

Rivron's winning dance saw him take on Christopher Walken's routine from Fatboy Slim's 'Weapon of Choice' video, which initially saw him win through in his heat last week along with Fatima Whitbread and The Cuban Brothers. Before emerging victorious in the public vote, judges Frank Skinner, Arlene Phillips and Rhod Gilbert (more)...

HollywoodNews.com:The first week of January brings together two opposing forces in Tinsel Town: the excess poundage of post-holiday time – and the need to look svelte as Awards Season goes into full swing. We’ve got the People’s Choice Awards Jan. 11th, The Golden Globes on the 15th, the Screen Actors Guild Awards the 29th – the list goes on and on. To prepare, notables and not-so-knowns all over town are dieting and exercising like mad. Sometimes, unfortunately, in certifiably unhealthy ways.
Beyonce, Demi Moore, Paris Hilton, Billy Bob Thornton and Howard Stern sidekick Robyn Quivers are among the many names who’ve been associated with the Master Cleanse diet. In fact, Quivers claimed to have lost 70 pounds on the seven-decade-old plan after dozens of failed diets. Instead of food, followers chug a concoction of fresh lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water – for weeks on end.

Maybe you were at the grocery store when you found yourself singing along to Afrojack's "Take Over Control" for the hundredth time. Or maybe it was when Martin Solveig's "Hello" was suddenly on repeat on your iPod. Whatever your moment was, it's fair to say the American appetite for electronic dance music surged in 2011, bringing "the rave" to radio and festivals, touching every U.S. city (big and small). Even Grammy voters took notice this year, nominating Skrillex for Best New Artist and in four other categories.
Afrojack, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Benny Benassi put up mainstream, chart-topping bangers. Las Vegas' Electric Daisy Carnival and Miami's Ultra Music Festival saw record attendance, and dance music's biggest stars headlined a stage at every major mainstream festival: Lollapalooza,...

Get into the (football) groove: Madonna has officially been announced as the featured performer for the Super Bowl Xlvi half-time show on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis. While it’s still a little too soon to place our bets on which teams will play in the big game (where’s Lisa Simpson when you need her?), that doesn’t mean we can’t start to guess, or at the very least make our wish list, for what the Material Girl will sing during the half-time show. (Early prediction: She probably won’t play “Material Girl.”)

Lights, camera, Justin Bieber. Christmas has come to Rockefeller Center. The traditional tree-lighting ceremony, the 79th annual, in the midtown Manhattan destination was a cautiously paced, all-star event Wednesday night, with carols delivered by the likes of Bieber, who essentially headlined the event, Michael Bublé (singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas"), Cee Lo Green, Neil Diamond, Carole King, Katharine McPhee and Tony Bennett (the traditional "White Christmas"). Mariah Carey was also seen in a debut video duet with Bieber, for her "All I Want for Christmas." The number resembled a big-budget department-store commercial, although the video's quick cuts made it...

Whether it was fronting another nervy Stars In Their Eyes grand final or holding court on You Bet!, Kelly always sparkled with his spangly showbiz outfits and infectious warm nature. Starting out on Game For A Laugh in 1981, Kelly also worked on CiTV, Wish You Were Here and short-lived quizshow Never Had It So Good with Fred Dinenage and Rowland Rivron. When your product is synonymous with the coolest super spy ever to grace the silver screen, you know you’re in good shape. Just look at Aston Martin. Back in September, the luxury car company was voted the coolest brand in a government survey thanks to ties with James Bond and now their DB5 has proved popular with viewers of digital TV station Dave, coming up trumps as the most iconic car ever in their poll of 2,300 people. Wow – talk about the power of Bond.
The DB5 was first introduced into the murky world of MI5 back in the days of Sean Connery with Goldfinger and has since popped up for further Bond incarnations such as George Lazenby in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye and Daniel Craig in Casino Royale (safari-suited Roger Moore had to make do with his Lotus Espirit).
