Back in April, it was announced that genre regular Isabelle Fuhrman – whose credits include Orphan, Orphan: First Kill, and The Last Thing Mary Saw, among others – would be starring in a cat and mouse thriller called Unit 234… which was already filming in the Cayman Islands by the time the announcement was made. We later heard that Fuhrman was joined in the cast by Don Johnson (Miami Vice), a great co-star to have. Now Radiant Films Intl. has unveiled (via Variety) the first image of Fuhrman in the movie, and you can see that image at the bottom of this article!
Directed by Andy Tennant (Sweet Home Alabama) from a screenplay by first-time feature writer Derek Steiner, Unit 234 sees Fuhrman taking on the role of Laurie Saltair, who discovers the comatose man, Clayton, in Unit 234 of her family’s storage facility, while working the night shift alone. Fresh off Orphan: First Kill, Isabelle Fuhrman will next be starring in an upcoming thriller titled Unit 234, and Variety has shared a first look image courtesy of Radiant Films today.
Andy Tennant is directing the cat-and-mouse thriller.
In the film, “Laurie Saltair (Fuhrman) discovers the comatose man, Clayton, in Unit 234 of her family’s storage facility, while working the night shift alone. What transpires is a thrill ride of a cat-and-mouse game for Laurie and Clayton to survive the night.”
Jack Huston (“House of Gucci”) and Don Johnson (Knives Out). also star.
Derek Steiner wrote the script for Unit 234.
Blythe Frank, Hadeel Reda and Lee Dreyfus are producing alongside Productivity Media’s William G. Santor & Doug Murray, with Colleen Camp serving as executive producer.
If you’re looking for a really good movie to watch, make sure to check out Isabelle Fuhrman in The Novice, which quite frankly should have nabbed her an Oscar nomination.

Genre regular Samara Weaving has a role in Scream 6, which just recently finished filming – and she’s already hard at work on another genre project, the comedic thriller Borderline. Variety reports that Borderline is currently filming in Vancouver, with The Babysitter: Killer Queen writer Jimmy Warden at the helm, making his feature directorial debut.
Warden’s Borderline script, which was once featured on the Black List, centers on

Weaving is joined in the cast by Eric Dane (Euphoria), Ray Nicholson (Something from Tiffany’s), Alba Baptista (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris), and Jimmie Fails (The Last Black Man in San Francisco).

More news coming out of Cannes today, as we’re learning that Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of Todd Komarnicki’s God Four, where she’ll appear alongside Jai Courtney, Michael Douglas and Brenton Thwaites.
The pic is set to follow Courtney’s documentary filmmaker who, “on the eve of his 10-year school reunion, discovers one of his championship rowing crew has just committed suicide. The discovery compels him to look back at his final year at college, a time of rivalry, romance and dangerous secrets.”
No word on who Dormer may play in the film, but it sounds like a solid enough premise, and the cast isn’t bad either, so as of now you can color us intrigued. After all, any chance for Dormer to gain more exposure is absolutely fine by us.

For my money, no combination in modern cinema says “lionhearted” more than a well-executed man vs. nature story led by a strong cast that could probably beat you up. So, if Red Machine works out, we’re in for something good. Variety tells us that James Marsden, Billy Bob Thornton, Thomas Jane, and a grizzly bear have all signed on for the thriller, which will be directed by Saw V‘s David Hackl and scripted by J.R. Reher.
The story contained within revolves around “two estranged brothers (Marsden, Jane) who reconcile on a camping trip with their girlfriends.” But, soon enough, “things go horribly awry when they are attacked and relentlessly stalked by a horrifying grizzly bear — the Red Machine.” It’s up to Thornton‘s character, a “legendary bear expert and hunter” (!), to save them from this beast of nature. Indomitable Entertainment and Paul Schiff Productions will produce the film,...

The market was inundated with them to the point that, as we reported this weekend, there's going to be a spoof movie called Not Another Not Another Movie.

MTV has revealed that the Wayans Brothers will make Dance Flick, a send-up of, well, you know. And there's even a new poster, which I'd share with you if I thought you really needed or even wanted to see it.
