He was the second and the last host/performer to play "Bozo The Clown"
on a NYC based childrens TV show. "The Bozo Show" was seen weekday
mornings on WOR TV Ch. 9 in NYC from Monday February 3, 1969 to Friday
September 12, 1969. The show moved to a weekday afternoon time slot
beginning on Monday September 15, 1969 and the series was retitled:
"Circus/Circus/Circus". Earl A. George and Tom Mahoney also appeared on
the show as "Snappy Pappy", "Larry Lovelace", "The Circus Boss", "Slim
Jim", "Prof. Tweetie Foofer" and "Grandma Nelly". Claude Kirchner
appeared on the show briefly as The Ringmaster/Announcer.
"Circus/Circus/Circus" remained on the air until Friday January 30,
1970.
