Boy is about to meet Doc, as it has been announced that a documentary on the popular series Boy Meets World could be headed our way. But before you get too excited about revisiting Cory, Topanga and Shawn, those behind the project aren’t even sure if and when it will come out.
Appearing at 90s Con, Pod Meets World hosts Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) and Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) unveiled that a crew is indeed working on a documentary about Boy Meets World, compiling what little behind-the-scenes footage there is and interviewing fans. As Fishel put it, “We aren’t even sure if it’s ever gonna go anywhere or not. We’re not necessarily intending on doing anything with it…It really kicked into high gear last year when we started the podcast and we started doing some live shows.”

Will Friedle isn’t the type of person to answer his phone while at a lunch — especially at a work lunch. In fact, he may have better manners than anyone I’ve ever met. But this was an exception.
We’d been sitting for about 10 minutes — Friedle, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and me — gathered around a corner booth in a Studio City restaurant.
“Oh, my gosh, I’m sorry, I have to take this,” he says after pulling his iPhone out of his pocket. He quickly turns it around, showing the group the names that are scrolling across the screen: “Bill & Bonnie Daniels.”
It was just a check in from Mr. (and Mrs.) Feeny and no, it wasn’t a planned call. It was simply an example of how most (more on that later) of this cast is actually still close.

Boy Meets World ran for seven seasons and followed Cory Matthews and his pals through the most tumultuous years of their childhood. By the time the series ended, Cory and his friends had grown up. Over the years, several teachers played key roles in the lives of Cory and his young pals. Some stayed on the show for all seven seasons, like Mr. Feeny. Others inexplicably disappeared. Mr. Turner, a teacher who took Shawn Hunter under his wing, played an important part in Shawn and Cory’s life until he suddenly vanished. Decades later, Anthony Tyler Quinn, the actor who took on the role, explained why his character just stopped existing in Shawn and Cory’s world.

It’s been years, but Anthony Tyler Quinn finally revealed why he was removed from Boy Meets World. It’s not exactly a grandiose reason, but it does make a lot of sense. Considering how many shows get changed mid-stream and how many cast members get cut now and again, Anthony’s case isn’t surprising. Fans of the show Boy Meets World didn’t expect the move. At the time, his character, Jonathan Turner, was popular enough that a lot of people weren’t ready to see him go. But after a few appearances in season 4, he was gone. That type of removal from

Disney Channel confirms the pilot is still in "very early stages of development" and that a nationwide casting search is still underway for 13-year-old Riley Matthews. "Girl Meets World" will follow Cory (Savage) and Topanga's (Fishel) teen daughter Riley. "Boy Meets World" creator Michael Jacobs is behind the project.
The cast for "Girl Meets World" will also include Maya, Riley's edgy best friend. Sounds a bit like Shawn Hunter to us!

With a "Boy Meets World" spinoff in the works, longtime fans of the show are wondering what the original "Boy Meets World" stars are up to now ... and how they're feeling about a sequel series 12 years later.
"I'm very excited for Disney and [creator] Michael Jacobs," William Russ, who played Cory's dad Alan Matthews on the series, told HuffPost. "They are a great team and will produce an exceptional show, I have no doubt."
"I'd love to talk [to Disney] about being a part of it," Lily Nicksay, who played Cory's little sister Morgan in the show's early years, told TMZ. Though she's yet to be approached by the network, Nicksay said she's excited about the spinoff.
Russ and Nicksay aren't the only cast members who have high hopes about the show. Anthony Tyler Quinn, who played everyone's second favorite teacher -- next to Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), of course -- took the...

"A" sent the girls on a few missions in the midseason finale of Pretty Little Liars and, as usual, things did not turn out well for nearly everyone involved. Aria was tasked with driving Jackie out of town, but Ezra's ex-fiance is a wily one and ended up turning the tables on Aria. Hanna was blackmailed into stopping her father's wedding. Spencer was forced to break up with Toby. And Jenna and Garret revealed themselves as total masterminds who were setting the girls up for Alison's murder.
Remember the hockey stick that Spencer thought killed Alison? It turns out that it was actually a shovel. The same shovel that was conveniently found with the girls when the police came to arrest them. The girls will be in very serious trouble in the remaining episodes of season 2. There might not be formal charges against them, but TV Line reveals that they...

Saturday Night Live vet Will Forte is set to visit Will Arnett on Lorne Michaels’ new NBC comedy Up All Night.
According to Vulture, the recurring 30 Rock funnyman will appear in the series’ fourth episode as a mellow surfer dude-dad who bonds over parenthood with Arnett’s character at a kiddie park. There’s no word if Forte will also share scenes with his former SNL co-star (and Up All Night regular) Maya Rudolph, but we can dream!
The guest spot will reunite Arnett and Forte, who previously appeared together as doofy siblings (pictured above) in 2007′s big-screen flop, The Brothers Solomon.

Shane Coffey is on his way to Rosewood.
As reported earlier in the week, Anthony Tyler Quinn will make an appearance on the back half of season two as an old friend of Byron's. Look for him to arrive from abroad and bring with him a 16-year old son, portrayed by this former Secret Life of the American Teenager bit player.
Might Coffey's character get mixed up with Aria? Another Liar? We'll have to wait until January to find out.
In the meantime, get excited for Tuesday's summer finale via the following promo:

If you were lucky enough to grow up in the 90’s, you were probably an avid Boy Meets World watcher. Part of ABC’s Tgif lineup, Boy Meets World was a successful family sitcom that ran for seven seasons. It chronicled the life and times of Cory Matthews, a young man from Philadelphia, who throughout the series run, grew up from a pre-teen to a college adult. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has been kind enough to release season four on DVD causing fans of the now classic show to rejoice.
Season four contains a lovely balance of humor and drama. Each episode has something important to say while providing many chuckles along the way. Things start off with Cory and his brother Eric completing a summer road trip. Eric wants to make one last stop. Thinking it’s better than home, he plans to stay there forever. This is just the...

Before I begin my review, I must mention that I do not hate Jesus, Christians, or Christian filmmakers. I grew up in an evangelical church, watching Veggie Tales and listening to Psalty cassette tapes. Today, I am a professing Christian, and going into this movie, I understood the culture that created A Christmas Snow. On some level, I even appreciate someone trying to make a family-friendly film. However, all of my understanding cannot excuse that this is a really bad movie.
In A Christmas Snow, Kathleen (Catherine Mary Stewart) is a restaurant owner who everyone says hates Christmas. I don’t really think that she hates Christmas. There is never any indication that she hates Christmas other than the fact that she keeps her restaurant open on Christmas Day, the newspaper’s food critic calls her a Grinch, and her father abandoned her family on Christmas Eve. She might not...
