The NYPD identified a body found in the Bronx as Green Book actor Frank Vallelonga Jr., The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The actor, who was 60, portrayed a relative of Viggo Mortensen’s bouncer Frank “Tony Lip” Vallelonga. In real life, he was the son of the bouncer portrayed in the film.
The police found Vallelonga Jr., unconscious and unresponsive but with no observable trauma, early Monday morning on the ground outside of the address of a sheet-metal factory.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death, but someone has been arrested and charged with concealment of a human corpse.
Vallelonga Jr.’s manager, Melissa Prophet, also confirmed his death to THR.
His other recent credits include crime film The Birthday Cake (2021) that starred Val Kilmer and Ewan McGregor and a 2018 episode of CBS’ The Neighborhood.

Joe Pesci has signed on to star in Pete Davidson’s upcoming Peacock comedy series “Bupkis,” Variety has learned.
Davidson will star in the series along with Pesci and previously announced cast member Edie Falco. The show was ordered to series at Peacock in April.
“Bupkis” is a half-hour comedy that is loosely based on Davidson’s real life. Falco will star as Davidson’s mother with Pesci now set to play Davidson’s grandfather.
This marks just the second regular television role of Pesci’s career. Prior to this, he starred in the short-lived NBC series “Half Nelson” in 1985. Pesci is best known for his film career, in particular his collaborations with Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro. The trio have worked together on seminal films like “Raging Bull,” “Goodfellas,” “Casino,” and “The Irishman.” Pesci won the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his work in “Goodfellas” and...

In a return to acting — and television — Oscar winner Joe Pesci will star opposite Pete Davidson and Edie Falco in Bupkis, Peacock’s upcoming half-hour live-action comedy that tells a heightened, fictionalized version of Davidson‘s life.
The high-profile casting completes Davidson’s on-screen family, with Pesci playing his grandfather and Falco his mother. For Pesci, who is a series regular, this marks only the second TV show; he previously headlined the short-lived 1985 ABC detective comedy-drama Half Nelson.
Pesci, who has earned three Oscar nominations for his dramatic roles in Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull, Goodfellas, for which he won, and The Irishman, is also known for his comedic performances in such classics as Home Alone and My Cousin Vinny.
Bringing Pesci back to the screen is a major coup for Davidson, who is co-writing and executive produces Bupkis in addition to starring. In 1999, Pesci announced that he would largely...

Deadline has confirmed that Paramount won’t be re-upping its deal with Robert Evans Productions, which has been in place since 1974 after Evans stepped down from running the studio.
Evans began at Paramount in 1967, at the age of 36, the youngest studio production boss at the time. During his tenure he revitalized 1970s cinema with such blockbusters as The Godfather, Love Story and as a producer of such classics as Chinatown and Rosemary’s Baby.
While Evans had a staff that includes development exec Jay Sikura, Exec. Director of Development Melissa Prophet and executive assistant Michael Alfred, he has been working from his Woodland estate in Beverly Hills due to poor health. The last feature that Evans, 89, produced, was the 2003 Matthew McConaughey-Kate Hudson romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days which grossed more than $177 million at the global box office.

CBS President and Chief Advertising Revenue Officer Jo Ann Ross has expressed support for CBS CEO Les Moonves, after six women accused him of harassment in an article written by Ronan Farrow for the New Yorker.
“I fully support Leslie Moonves and the statement he made,” Ross wrote on Twitter. “My experience with him on a professional and personal basis has never had any hint of the behavior this story refers to.
Farrow’s story detailed graphic accusations of sexual misconduct against Moonves, including by writer-actress Illeana Douglas, who said that during a business meeting with Moonves in 1997, she was pinned down with her arms over her head while Moonves “violently” kissed her.

Actress Illeana Douglas is calling for “real change” after accusing CBS CEO Les Moonves of holding her down and kissing her, then retaliating against her for rejecting his advances. And Douglas says “real change” for her will come when she can “resume the creative and working relationship” she had with CBS “that was so tragically cut short in 1997.”
“Real change will occur when victims of sexual assaults are not stigmatized as whistle blowers, or people with some kind of agenda for coming forward,” she said in a statement to TheWrap Friday, after a New Yorker story written by Ronan Farrow detailed sexual misconduct accusations made against Moonves by Douglas and five other women.
“Real change will occur when opportunities to work at companies where assaults have occurred are no longer condoned. Speaking for myself, real change will occur when I can walk through the front doors of CBS and resume...

Actress Illeana Douglas shared graphic accusations of sexual misconduct against CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves on Friday in a New Yorker story by Ronan Farrow, in which six women accused him of harassment.
Douglas said that during a business meeting with Moonves in 1997 surrounding the CBS series “Queens,” she was pinned down with her arms over her head while Moonves “violently” kissed her.
Moonves admitted in a statement to making advances against numerous unnamed women “decades ago,” but said he’s never misused his power to hinder careers.
“In a millisecond, he’s got one arm over me, pinning me,” Douglas told Farrow, who added that Moonves held her down on his office couch.

“What it feels like to have someone hold you down — you can’t breathe, you can’t move,” she said.

Fatal Games (1984) Movie Review
Directed By: Michael Elliot
Written By Rafael Bunuel & Michael Elliot
Starring: Sally Kirkland (Diane), Lynn Banashek (Annie Rivers), Sean Masterson (Phil Dandridge), Michael O’Leary (Frank Agee), Teal Roberts (Lynn Fox), Spice Williams-Crosby (Coach Drew), Melissa Prophet (Nancy Wilson), Angela Bennett (Sue Allen Baines), Nicholas Love (Joe Ward), Lauretta Murphy (Shelly), Michael Elliot (Dr. Jordine), Christopher Mankiewicz (Coach Webber)
Stick with the Olympics! This movie is a game of fatally flawed, slow mayhem. Coming at the end of the slasher peaks in the 1980s, “Fatal Games” attempts to be different but is too flawed to even find enjoyable.
Michael Elliot’s direction could use polishing but this was the only movie he did thank goodness. This movie has only been released by Media Home Entertainment on VHS.
