Paramount’s A Quiet Place: Day One is getting ready to bring chills to audiences.
Stars Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn on Thursday introduced extended footage of the prequel to movie theater owners gathered in Las Vegas this week for CinemaCon, where they are being briefed by Hollywood studios on their upcoming slates (the footage won’t be shared outside the room, since the movie is close to opening and there have been numerous trailers already).
The event spinoff pic is a cornerstone of Paramount’s slate, and hopes to be another win for the innovative horror franchise created by John Krasinski that turned into a major hit after successfully proving that original stories can work on a large, commercial scale.

Selena Gomez has seen her “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars and guest stars get nominated for and win Emmys the past two years while she sat on the sidelines. Will the third time finally be the charm? She’s currently in fifth place in the Best Comedy Actress odds. Given her previous snubs, you’d be justified to doubt her chances, but we’ve been through this before with a twice snubbed actress-singer who pulled through on her third try under very similar circumstances: Mandy Moore.
“This Is Us” was a breakout hit when it premiered in 2016 on NBC. In 2017, it earned 10 Emmy nominations for its freshman installment, including Best Drama Series and seven acting bids — but not for Moore in Best Drama Actress. It’s looking bleak for Anna in her pursuit of motherhood in Part Two of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story: Delicate. FX has released the first trailer for the final episodes of the 12th installment of the anthology series, and not surprisingly, it features some shocking scenes.
In one quick shot, we see Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian locking lips. We also see Anna (Roberts) discovering some dark secrets about her publicist Siobhan (Kardashian). “You’re a monster,” Roberts tells Kardashian to which she replies, “Oh no, babe. I’m so much worse.”
The trailer opens with Anna (Roberts) snacking on a bone and telling Siobhan (Kardashian) “Something’s happening to me.” She’s definitely on to something here.
We also are treated to images of spider-like creatures crawling out of a pregnant Anna’s (Roberts) belly.

Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts lock lips in chilling American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2 trailer
If we’re being honest, we didn’t think Kim Kardashian was the right fit for American Horror Story before the season debuted.
But she exceeded all expectations last fall when she appeared as a publicist named Siobhan on American Horror Story: Delicate.
Thanks to delays caused by the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, we’re about to see the final episodes of the season.
In a new trailer released Wednesday, Kardashian’s character becomes more chilling than anticipated.
Even though Siobhan is embracing her villainous side, she’s still throwing out witty one-liners to poor Anna (Emma Roberts), who has become the target of a cult with big plans for her unborn child.
The trailer delves into what we can expect during the final episodes of the season, and one moment that’s sure to get fans talking involves Kardashian and Roberts kissing.

“American Horror Story: Delicate” Part 2 appears to be full steam ahead thanks to Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian enjoying a kiss in the just-released video trailer (watch below). FX’s horror anthology series returns on Wednesday, April 3 with the first of its final four episodes of Season 12. Note that “AHS” was split into two parts for this installment because of the writers’ and actors’ strikes that shuttered Hollywood for much of the 2023 calendar year.
The first five episodes of “American Horror Story: Delicate” aired in September-October, telling the story of an up-and-coming actress named Anna Victoria Alcott (Roberts) who’s campaigning on the awards circuit while dealing with supernatural pregnancy issues. Kardashian plays her foul-mouthed publicist, Siobhan Corbyn, and Matt Czuchry takes on the role of her husband, Dex Harding. In the new clip, Siobhan seems surprised to see Anna chomping on an animal bone.

Paramount has releasing the official trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One, a spin-off prequel to John Krasinski’s 2018 and 2020 apocalyptic horror films.
Premiering in theaters June 28th, A Quiet Place: Day One shows us “why the world went quiet.” Naturally, there’s no dialogue in the trailer — aside from a “shh” — but we do see snippets of Lupita Nyong’o and Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn going about their regular lives in Manhattan before all hell breaks loose.
A Quiet Place: Day One was directed and written by Michael Sarnoski, with Krasinski stepping back into a producer role this time around. The new film welcomes new cast members Alex Wolff and Denis O’Hare, and brings back Djimon Hounsou, who starred as the nameless “man on the island” in A Quiet Place Part II.

"Discover why our world went quiet." Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for the sci-fi prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, arriving in theaters this June in the middle of the summer. After the first two A Quiet Place movies (from 2018 & 2020), they've decided to go big and make the prequel - setting it in New York City when the alien creatures first arrive and wreak havoc. (There's also a A Quiet Place III sequel in the works). There are no plot details revealed, but this trailer gives us a first look at what's going down. Lupita Nyong'o stars as a woman named Sam in NYC caught up in the mayhem. "As everything quickly goes to hell, she’s thrown together with a man named Eric. With some reluctance, the pair agree to navigate and survive the city together." And yes, she has a cat she brings along, and its name is Frodo.

Nick Offerman has been a bit of an Emmys bridesmaid so far, as the versatile actor has been nominated three times in his career but failed to turn any of them into cold, hard wins he can put on his shelf. This year, he earned his fourth nomination — and, surprisingly, his first one as an actor. He was nominated for Best Drama Guest Actor for HBO’s hugely successful video-game adaptation “The Last of Us.”
In the show, Offerman appears as Bill in episode three — “Long, Long Time.” Perhaps the most emotional episode of the entire series, Offerman is front and center of the drama and truly gets a chance to show off his acting chops. Bill lives a solitary life on his compound when the epidemic breaks out. But his uneasy quiet is disturbed when Murray Bartlett‘s Frank stumbles upon the land. Bill is reluctant to help the...

Murray Bartlett is having a very special moment. After winning his first Emmy last year, the actor has followed up that victory with not one but two nominations this year as he looks to continue his hot streak. One of those bids this year is for Best Movie/Limited Series Supporting Actor for “Welcome to Chippendales,” while his second comes for HBO’s drama “The Last of Us,” which amassed a whopping 25 Emmy bids. Specifically, Bartlett was nominated for Best Drama Guest Actor for his emotional role as Frank in episode three of the show.
That episode, titled “Long, Long Time,” was touted as one of the very best in the entire series and was certainly the most heartbreaking. The episode flashes back to Frank leaving Baltimore as the epidemic spread. Soon after, he stumbles across a protected compound belonging to Nick Offerman‘s Bill, who, at first, is reluctant...

But for everyone now starring in the show, which opened Off-Broadway at The Shed on Oct. 22, joining the project was an immediate yes, largely due to the novelty of being in a new Sondheim piece, which ended up being the composer’s first new show in decades, as well as his last.

When "American Horror Story: Delicate" premiered in September, it felt like the whole internet cried out at once: "Kim Kardashian is so great in it!" TMZ literally sent a push alert about it. But having actually watched the season so far, let me be clear: Kardashian's first serious foray into acting is overhyped.
If you haven't been watching, in the 12th season of "AHS," Emma Roberts plays Anna Victoria Alcott, who very much wants to get pregnant and win an Oscar. The two desires often come into conflict in ways that don't really make sense, though that's the fault of a weak script more than anyone's performance. Anna is surrounded by a hapless husband ("Gilmore Girls"'s Matt Czuchry), an obviously nefarious doctor (Denis O'Hare), and many other characters played by staples of the Ryan Murphy-verse. And then there's Kardashian, who plays PR maven Siobhan Corbyn, who's going to...

The third installment in the A Quiet Place franchise, titled "A Quiet Place: Day One," is on the way, but fans will have to wait a little longer for it to arrive. As the SAG-AFTRA strike continues, Variety reported on Oct. 23 that Paramount Pictures has shuffled its upcoming film releases, including "A Quiet Place: Day One," which has been pushed from spring 2024 to the summertime. However, the movie's buzzy cast may make up for the delay.
Per Deadline, the spinoff film stars "Black Panther" star Lupita Nyong'o, "Stranger Things"'s Joseph Quinn, "Oppenheimer"'s Alex Wolff, "Shazam!"'s Djimon Hounsou, and "American Horror Story" star Denis O'Hare. Paramount green-lit the movie - which is based on an idea from John Krasinski, who wrote and directed the franchise's first two films - back in November 2020, but details didn't surface until April's CinemaCon, during which Krasinski unveiled the first look at the film.

In the penultimate song in Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Sunday in the Park with George,” Dot implores the artist George to “give us more to see.” The late maestro has done so himself one last time with the world premiere of his final musical, “Here We Are,” which opened Off-Broadway at The Shed on Oct. 22. Written with dramatist David Ives, the musical takes inspiration from two Luis Buñuel films – “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie” and “The Exterminating Angel” – that it marries with one set of characters.
Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello played an integral role in the show’s development and directs its first production. He has assembled an unrivaled ensemble to take on the roles of the unimaginably affluent characters who spend the first act trying to find a restaurant in which to have brunch, and who in the second act find themselves unable to leave after their meal.

“Sometimes people leave you halfway through the wood,” Cinderella sings in “No One Is Alone,” Stephen Sondheim’s clear-eyed reassurance of support and survival at the end of Into the Woods. Sondheim himself, who passed away in November 2021, left artistic companions, including book writer David Ives and director Joe Mantello, halfway through a wood they were constructing together: the musical Here We Are, now playing off-Broadway at the Shed’s Griffin Theater. With his final offering, Sondheim sends one last jolt of structural inventiveness coursing through the veins of the musical theater form. Here We Are may not operate on the grand scale of Sweeney Todd or Into the Woods or Follies, but it is, to quote the composer-lyricist, small and funny and fine.

Get ready for a spooktacular time with Huluween‘s four-episode event as American Horror Stories returns to the platform exclusively beginning Thursday, October 26. In anticipation of the twisted tales, FX has unveiled several first-look posters and a new teaser trailer with plenty of nightmare-inducing imagery. The spinoff of American Horror Story is similar to the original in that it’s an anthology, but instead of following a different story each season, American Horror Stories follows a different story each episode. (Credit: FX) Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Stories first debuted in 2021 and has already delivered 15 installments to viewers since its launch. It’s unclear who will star in the latest batch of episodes, but the offshoot series has featured plenty of American Horror Story vets over the years including Cody Fern, Matt Bomer, Billie Lourd, Dylan McDermott, and Denis O’Hare, among many others. In the meantime,...

American Horror Stories, a streaming series spin-off from FX’s long-running horror anthology series American Horror Story, began with a seven episode first season in 2021, and an eight episode second season followed in 2022. For the upcoming third season, the episode count has been shortened to just four – and all four episodes of American Horror Stories season 3 are set to drop on the Hulu streaming service on October 26th! With that date just three weeks away, a teaser trailer has arrived online to give a quick preview of the Halloween (or “Huluween”) event. You can watch it in the embed above.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck, the same duo that’s responsible for American Horror Story, this series is a weekly hourlong anthology that features a different horror story, some of which call back to the original series, in each contained episode. A new season of “American Horror Story” is upon us. Believe it or not, “AHS” Season 12 actually marks a couple of firsts for the ongoing franchise – it’s the first to be an adaptation instead of an original story, and it’s the first with a female showrunner as Halley Feiffer wrote every episode of the season herself.
It’s also the season with Kim Kardashian.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, “American Horror Story” debuted on FX in 2011 and didn’t reveal itself to be an anthology show until that season finale, in which almost every main character died. Since that time, each new season of “AHS” is treated as an event, as Murphy and Co. have traversed a variety of horror genres.
For those wondering exactly when they can watch “American Horror Story: Delicate,” everything you need to know about Season 12 is below.

It’s been almost 12 years to the day since Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk unleashed “American Horror Story” on the genre-loving masses. Not many of us queerdo TV fans have stuck around long enough to enjoy the ongoing “American Horror Story: Delicate,” at least judging Season 12 by the series’ earlier viewership numbers.
But even with the show’s spectacularly uneven quality and Murphy’s unfailing ability to drop the ball mid-way through a decent story, the creepy-yet-campy anthology remains an undeniable staple of horror TV and FX offerings. It’s got a smaller fanbase these days, sure. But we’re still thriving — constantly theorizing about how the seasons are interconnected and assembling some of the funniest clip compilations on the internet.
On October 5, 2011, the co-creators and executive producers known for “Nip/Tuck,” “Glee,” and more wacky dramedy classics premiered the first episode of what was retroactively titled “American Horror Story: Murder House.

[This story contains spoilers from the premiere of AHS: Delicate.]
Little was known about how American Horror Story would twist Danielle Valentine’s novel to fit the mold of the veteran FX anthology until it made its debut. Now, season 12 of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s hit horror series has released its first episode (and will now roll out weekly) and has revealed to its devoted audience the plot of the fertility body-horror season, along with the role Kim Kardashian will be playing alongside returning AHS star Emma Roberts.

Just in time for Halloween, the long-running horror series "American Horror Story" from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk is back for yet another season of pulpy pop terror. Over the show's entire run, which began in October of 2011, it's always been fun for fans to try and guess the theme of each season and piece together clues that reveal whatever subtitle will be attached to the next installment.
Officially, season 12 has been dubbed "American Horror Story: Delicate" and stars series regular Emma Roberts as a Hollywood starlet named Anna Alcott who's desperate to have a child and start a family. The award-winning horror anthology series has certainly had its ups and downs over the years, but "Delicate" looks like a return to form based on the teaser trailer and the first episode which premiered on September 20, 2023. Get ready to push, puush, puuush because FX’s “American Horror Story” is giving birth to its 12th installment, subtitled “Delicate.” As usual, the cast of “AHS” Season 12 features a mix of new actors and franchise vets. The story is set in the present day and is based on Danielle Valentine’s thriller novel “Delicate Condition,” about an up-and-coming actress who believes an evil force is trying to hinder her pregnancy.
Because of Hollywood’s ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, “Delicate” will be divided into two parts, a first for the long-running horror anthology series. Part 1 debuted on September 20, 2023, and Part 2 will air at a later date. Halley Feiffer has taken over as the sole writer and new showrunner, while the various directors include Jessica Yu, Jennifer Lynch and John J. Gray. Despite all of American Horror Story’s witches, vampires, murder Santas, and serial killers, the anthology series has always suffered from an identity crisis and focus issues. American Horror Story’s 12th season comes in after what was arguably the series’ strongest season in over a decade that would have made for a powerful, poignant way to conclude the anthology horror series. Instead, American Horror Story: Delicate ventures into risky, overdone territory with this pregnancy body horror drama.
What’s significant about AHS: Delicate is that it features some major firsts for the series. For one, American Horror Story: Delicate is the first season where series creator Ryan Murphy isn’t showrunner. Instead, Hailey Feiffer–a playwright–takes over these duties and writes the entire season. Wednesday evening, we got our first hints as to whether American Horror Story was going to succeed with its mad experiment. As you’ve no doubt read, this season, the series’ 12th, is the first that isn’t born of an original idea but adapted from a book, Danielle Valentine’s Delicate Condition (which has been described as “the feminist update to Rosemary’s Baby”). Delicate also marks the first time that Ryan Murphy has handed over the showrunner’s reins (to Impeachment: American Crime Story vet Halley Feiffer). So, did the gambles pay off? Get ready to push, puush, puuush because FX’s “American Horror Story” is giving birth to its 12th installment, subtitled “Delicate.” As usual, the cast of “AHS” Season 12 features a mix of new actors and franchise vets. The story is set in the present day and is based on Danielle Valentine‘s thriller novel “Delicate Condition,” about an up-and-coming actress who believes an evil force is trying to hinder her pregnancy.
Because of Hollywood’s ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, “Delicate” will be divided into two parts, a first for the long-running horror anthology series. Part 1 will debut on September 20, 2023, and Part 2 will air at a later date. Halley Feiffer has taken over as the sole writer and new showrunner, while the various directors include Jessica Yu, Jennifer Lynch and John J. Gray. Just like last year, this cycle filmed entirely in New York City. Scroll through our photos above...

Kim Kardashian is embracing developing her acting chops in the newest season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story.”
“Anytime you try something, you just have to have the intention of growing and challenging yourself,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star said in a behind-the-scenes teaser for the upcoming FX series’ latest season, subtitled “Delicate.” “Then you just kinda release and have fun.”
“American Horror Story: Delicate,” which premieres Wednesday, centers on actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) who struggles with multiple failed attempts of IVF to achieve her dream of starting a family. “As the buzz around her recent film grows, she fears that something may be targeting her — and her pursuit of motherhood,” according to the official logline.
