Antony Starr brings sexy swagger to the role of Lucas Hood
on the new Cinemax drama, Banshee.
Cinemax has been in the TV series game for awhile now with action-packed acquired series like Strike Back and Hunted, but its first original series, Banshee kicked off last month. With intriguing characters, jaw-dropping happenings and, of course, a hunky star who isn’t shy about taking off his clothes, the series quickly garnered a second season renewal.
In the series, Executive Produced by True Blood’s Alan Ball & House alum Greg Yaitanes, ex-con/thief Lucas Hood, played by New Zealander Antony Starr, gets out of prison and heads to the town of Banshee, Pa, where, through some violent occurrences in the pilot, sees the opportunity to start anew by assuming the identity of the new Sheriff in town. Add an ex-love/accomplice (Ivana Milicevic), a transvestite computer hacker (played with wonderful bravado...

Millions of fans said goodbye to One Tree Hill this week as the two hour series finale made it to our television screens. The finale began with a special one hour retrospective with creator, Mark Schwahn and the cast. Not often does a creator of a hit show and the cast come together to talk about what makes their show and the experience of making it so special, with their connection to the fans at the forefront. As Bethany Joy Lenz wrote on her blog, “In a strange way, an indirect way… I supposed we raised each other.”
“It’s about falling in love, it’s about making someone proud of you, it’s about being proud of yourself. It’s about that quiet voice that tells you, you could do better.” – Mark Schwahn
Schwahn said it best when he said, “What’s real about it are the emotions behind it and the people.

One Tree Hill finale, titled “One Tree Hill”, goes down Memory Lane with Brooke and Haley
The theme for One Tree Hill’s Season 9 and series finale is remembering, and celebrating, One Tree Hill and everything that has happened on the show in the last nine years. Even the finale’s title reflects this theme, with it simply being called “One Tree Hill.” Down below is a clip from the final episode, featuring two of the only three remaining original cast members, Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz, preparing for the future while acknowledging the past. It’s always important to think of these characters as living their lives beyond the show. Just because we won’t be watching them on TV any longer doesn’t mean they couldn’t be having dramatic adventures.
Case in point: in the video Brooke reveals she has purchased the neighboring building next to Haley’s shop.

One Tree Hill Season 9 – Sophia Bush in Know This, We’ve Noticed Promo Pics
One Tree Hill’s final season begins January 11 with the episode “Know This, We’ve Noticed” and it will include one doozy of a reunion for Sophia Bush’s Brooke. In that first episode on Season 9, Brooke, along with husband Julian (Austin Nichols) will take her teeny, tiny twin babies to a church, presumably to have them christened, but really they could be there for any number of reasons. The point is they will be in a church, as you can clearly tell from the latest promo pictures for the episode. Don’t those babies just look completely uninterested?
It is at this church that Brooke reunites with her usually absent father, Ted (Richard Burgi). Now for a guy who has been kind of a dick, Brooke sure looks happy to see him. It’s not...
