Masaya Nakamura was born on December 24, 1925 in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Empire of Japan [now Japan]. He was a producer and assistant director, known for Tekken (2010), Cyber Ninja (1988) and Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. (1990). He died on January 22, 2017.

He was the founder of Namco, the Japanese video game company that created Pac-Man. The company had a humble beginning as Nakamura Manufacturing in 1955 - two mechanical horse rides on the roof of a department store.
