Being in upstate New York and having watched the snow pile up when I should have been out shaking my moneymaker at the Saturday night Halloween parties, "Chill" is the last word I want to hear. But after checking out a clip from the film carrying that title, which makes its premiere on December 1st in Akron, Ohio, I found myself thawing on the whole thing... and we've got that very clip for you right here!
Chill is a horror movie that revolves around a role-playing game gone terribly wrong (kinda like those old news stories about Dungeons & Dragons kids going ape-shit back in the '80s, but this is a bit more hi-tech). Starring Roger Conners, Kelly Rogers, Brad Arner, DJ Remark, Jason Orr, Angelia DeLuca, David Gilmore, Mike Kafury, Erinn Bakun, Ash Katt, Janine Bowles Sarnowski, Theresa Pedone, and Rick Montgomery, Jr., and directed by Noelle Bye and Meredith Holland,...

When "Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley and his wife, "Pretty Little Liars" star Torrey DeVitto visited Italy this summer, it's unlikely that they were expecting to return with a new philanthropic passion -- but that's what they got. While traveling, they met Rick Montgomery, the founder of Global Roots, a grassroots organization devoted to supporting children in need.
Currently, Global Roots distributes funds to orphanages and hunger-fighting initiatives around the world, including a solar cooking project in Kenya, a school in Cambodia, and an orphanage supply center in Afghanistan.
Paul and Torrey have teamed up with Global Roots to generate donations while connecting with fans. Global Roots is planning a benefit in Los Angeles this December, and are offering fans a chance to give back -- while entering to win a seat next to the couple at the dinner. (We can attest -- they're a blast to hang out with.

Chris Diamantopoulos has reportedly emerged as the frontrunner to play Moe Howard in "The Three Stooges" at 20th Century Fox reports Variety.
Directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly and casting director Rick Montgomery met thousands of candidates to play the sternest of the Stooges clan which currently includes Will Sasso as Curly and Sean Hayes as Larry.
Diamantopoulos has had key roles in various TV shows including "The Starter Wife," "State of Mind" and several voice roles on "American Dad". He was most recently seen playing Frank Sinatra in "The Kennedys" and starred as the President's Chief of Staff in the last season of "24".
However it was his portrayal of Robin Williams in the 2005 telepic "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Mork and Mindy'" that got the Farrelly's attention.
Diamantopoulos recently screen tested for the part and an offer is expected shortly.
