X Factor winner Shayne Ward on the cover of Gay Times. Sorry fellas, Shayne is strayt.
I failed. Yesterday I had vowed to vote in the afternoon and then not pay any attention to election results until it was all over and the dust had settled. Well, I was glued to MSNBC by 8 Pm. With all of the bad news last night, there were a few bright spots. In my home state of NY, volatile nutjob Carl Paladino lost to the "legendary prowess" of Andrew Cuomo. And then he proceeded to give a concession speech involving a ... baseball bat ... and veiled threats. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what the hell he was going for here.
Fellow Tea Party crazies (and phobes) Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell and likely Joe Miller also lost, which may be good for us, but will be tragic for late night comedians. Lost in all...

For three days this past July, the undead took over a residential neighborhood in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Today, Fangoria TV is pleased to present the visual evidence, in the short film, See The Dead.
A loveletter to the zombie genre, created to be seen by "Godfather" George A. Romero himself - Filmmaker Robert W. Filion took the time to give Fangoria the details on the film, and the story behind it - in his own words.
"I wrote “See the Dead” in 1 day and used the first draft as the final. As a fan of the genre, numerous nods are placed throughout the narrative (mostly to Romero’s Dead films).
The following week, my mom passed away, therefore, I neglected pre-production for almost 2 weeks to mourn and be with family. Being an artist herself, she would have understood my need to complete this film, while so many others would...

Joe Miller (Peter Krause) went around trying to round up missing items that had the ability to gift the person that possessed them with supernatural abilities? Well, a lot of fans wanted that to go to series and it never happened. On the other hand, we can look forward to Warehouse 13. Recently announced as a series, Warehouse 13 was developed by Rockne O’Bannon (Farscape) and Jane Espenson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and D. Brent Mote. The plot, stop me if this sounds familiar, is about a couple of cops – FBI agents to be more precise - rounding up strange items that posses seemingly supernatural capabilities. Whoa. The difference here, is that the objects don’t belong to a secret society as in The Lost Room, they belong to the United States Government. I’ll admit that even though I would...
