- Don Miller was born on March 29, 1902 in Defiance, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for The Spirit of Notre Dame (1931), To Tell the Truth (1956) and The Ed Sullivan Show (1948). He died on July 28, 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
- Pictured with Harry Stuhldreher, Elmer Layden, and Jim Crowley on one of fifteen 32¢ US commemorative postage stamps in the "Celebrate the Century" series, issued 28 May 1998, celebrating the 1920s. Together they were known as the "Four Horsemen of Notre Dame".
- Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1970.
