On her first birthday, Julianne caught the eye of a CBS TV News
reporter and her cameraman while playing with toys at FAO Schwartz Toy
Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The reporter referred to
Julianne as a "super gorgeous toddler" with an infectious smile, and
that evening she appeared on the CBS TV Ch 2 news program.
She has an older sister named Joy.

Won the Best Young Leading Actress Award on December 10, 2006 from The
Young Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland for her outstanding performance
as Terry, a teen who battles her drug addiction in the feature film,
The House Is Burning.
At age five she was spotted by a TV producer who then approached her
parents. She did her first feature film at age six, and by age eight,
Julianne already had a few movies and TV guest appearances under her
belt.
During an interview by "Child Star Magazine" Julianne said that "The
Joy Luck Club" was her favorite movie.
