Michael McShane is an American actor and comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. He is known for playing Friar Tuck from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and voice over work in cartoons and video games such as Final Fantasy X, A Bug's Life, Spawn, Castle in the Sky, Treasure Planet and Happily N'Ever After.
King-sized actor trained in the classics and in improvisational comedy
in Berkeley, California, which took him to England in 1990. One of the
first artists to be accepted into the British improv field, he appeared
regularly on the comedy panel of Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1988).
Comedian/Actor. Grew up in Roeland Park, Kansas, a bedroom community of
Kansas City, Missouri.
Attended Shawnee Mission North high school in Kansas.
Performing as Audrey II in "Little Shop of Horrors" at
Duke of York Theatre in London.
Provided various voices for the short-lived Clerks (2000) animated
series.
