An app where mid-level celebrities can make beer money by carrying out the instructions of a total stranger via a selfie video… what could possibly go wrong? Elijah Wood, Dean Norris of “Breaking Bad,” Kate Flannery from “The Office,” Priscilla Presley (“The Naked Gun”), and “Scrubs” curmudgeon John McGinley found out the answer the hard way this summer.
Beginning in July, “Russia-aligned influence actors have tricked celebrities into providing video messages that were then used in pro-Russian propaganda,” the Microsoft Threat Analysis Center found and shared in a Thursday blog post. Ok, so that could go wrong.
American actors and other celebrities, including musician Shavo Odadjian, were apparently asked to provide messages of support on Cameo (almost certainly; the popular website will not confirm the specific activity) to someone named “Vladimir.” The unwitting stars...

Last year, the cast of “Scrubs” reunited for a panel at the Atx Television Festival in Austin, Texas, where they revealed they were all onboard for a reunion movie.

“In the greatest way, the cast of that show and the writers are so good that they’re all working. And the main reason to do something like that isn’t the work, it’s because we actually love hanging out,” Lawrence told Variety in a recent interview while promoting Apple TV+’s “Shrinking.”
That’s the reason they continuously get together — whether it’s for Atx TV Festival or for dinner and drinks. In a way, it’s a tradition he’s made with the casts and crew of many of his shows, including “Cougar Town,” “Spin City” and “Ted Lasso.”
