- New Yorkers were familiar with Joseph Marzano's voice as a classical music commentator for many years on radio station WNCN-FM. During the 1960s and 1970s, he handled the station's Sunday morning shift.
- Filmmaker Joe Marzano also did much voiceover work. After Bob Dorian left Hugh Daly and Mike Russo's JHD Productions for American Movie Classics, Marzano stepped in as a replacement, continuing to do voiceover work with JHD for the next 16 years.
