The creators of the upcoming Apple TV series inspired by Hilde Lysiak, the intrepid 12-year-old investigative reporter who exposed a murder in her Pennsylvania hometown when she was 9 in her self-started newspaper, have been keeping up with her work. Most recently, that included standing her ground against an Arizona town marshal.

The story is inspired by the true story of Lysiak’s reporting. She was the first to expose a murder in her hometown of Selinsgrove, Pa, breaking the news in her self-started newspaper, Orange Street News. Exclusive: Apple has given a 10-episode straight-to-series order to a mystery drama inspired by the real-life story of 11-year-old Hilde Lysiak. The untitled project, from Anonymous Content and Paramount Television, was created by Ben and Kate creator Dana Fox and Dara Resnik (Daredevil), who executive produce with Joy Gorman Wettels (13 Reasons Why) and Sharlene Martin (Deadly Sins). Jon M. Chu will direct and executive produce.

One of the anonymous jurors in the George Zimmerman case has signed with an agent to write a book, according to Galley Cat. The author -- known only as Juror B37 -- has chosen for the moment to remain anonymous. Her agent Sharlene Martin hinted that she might try to continue to remain anonymous, declining media requests to promote the book.
