Beautiful brunette silent screen actress of French-Irish ancestry, on stage with the Oliver Morosco company after first employment as a nurse. She began in films with Biograph under the name Marguerite Loveridge, nicknamed "Lovey". She eventually changed her name back to Marsh to profit from the popularity of her famous sister Mae. She had a certain notoriety for extravagant lifestyle. Her acting (in films for Goldwyn, Thanhouser and Griffith at Fine Arts) was not generally well received by critics and her career was all washed up by the time of her untimely death at 37 from bronchial pneumonia.
