Exclusive to Indiewire is the trailer for "Deep Dark Canyon," a film by Silver Tree and Abe Levy (which, in fact, Tree directed while she was eight months pregnant) set to open in Los Angeles on October 19. The film, about two brothers who get in trouble for killing the mayor of a rural American town in a hunting accident, stars Nick Eversman ("Gladiator") and Spencer Treat (ABC's "Missing") as the brothers. Things get a little murkier because their father (Ted Levine ("Silence of the Lambs") is the town's sheriff. When the town comes after them, the two flee, and the mayor's family and the town's deputy sheriff ("Freaks and Geeks"' Martin Starr) must try to find them. Matthew Lillard, Abraham Benrubi, Michael Bowen and Justine Bateman also star. Check out the trailer below!

In our first true TrailerWatch post in awhile we crawled the web until we found 2 trailers for the same movie, one green and one red. When we watch the trailers we got really excited about the film. Operation: Endgame features the likes of Rob Corrdry, Ving Rhames, Zach Galifianiks, Maggie Q, Adam Scott, Bob Odenkirk and Jeffrey Tambor.
According to other websites who have posted the trailer this project was listed under another title during its production called Rogues Gallery. The film is basically, an action-comedy that sees two teams of government spies pitted against one another. I have to say these trailers have come out of nowhere. What is even the bigger kicker is that this movie is not getting a theatrical release as it will go straight to Blu-ray and DVD.
Are you kidding me? I mean all of these dudes in the film are mega comedy stars now.

Maggie Q and Ving Rhames are just two of many to join Fouad Mikati’s upcoming action comedy “Rogue’s Gallery,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by Brian Watanabe and Abe Levy, the film centers on the battle between government spy teams in an underground facility. Ellen Barkin, Rob Corddry, Adam Scott and Odette Yustman co-star.
Richard Kelly’s Darko Entertainment handles the production of the project, which kicked off principal photography last week in Los Angeles. Darko is also currently working on “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell,” an adaptation of Tucker Max’s famous memoir.
Maggie Q most recently starred in Marcel Langenegger’s thriller “Deception.” She will next be seen in “New York, I Love You.” Rhames was last seen in “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.” Scott is currently onscreen in “Step Brothers.”
Although I have no clue what this flick will look like when it hits theaters,...

Ving Rhames, Ellen Barkin, Rob Corddry, Bob Odenkirk, Jeffrey Tambor and Maggie Q are all in "Rogue's Gallery," an action comedy directed by Paris-based filmmaker Fouad Mikati.
The film, written by Brian Watanabe and Abe Levy, is being produced by Michael Ohoven and Kevin Turen of Infinity Films and Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm of Darko Entertainment. Chadwick Clough, an executive producer on the film, brought the project to Darko; Darko executive Jeff Culotta will oversee the project.
"Rogue's Gallery" details the battle that ensues among groups of government spy teams in an underground facility after their boss is assassinated. The movie began shooting in and around downtown Los Angeles last week.
Joe Anderson, Odette Yustman, Adam Scott and Emilie de Ravin also star in the film.
"It's very rare that you can find a script which combines dry, witty humor with high intensity action," Ohoven said. "In spite of the impending actors strike, we are confident in our decision to begin production."
Infinity's recent releases include the Oscar-nominated "Capote" and "Just Friends." Darko is finishing up production on Kelly's thriller "The Box" and moving forward with "World's Greatest Dad" starring Robin Williams and "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," an adaptation of Tucker Max's best-seller.
