Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Blu-ray from Scream Factory
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will be released on Blu-ray on April 9 via Scream Factory. Capitalizing on the public domain status of A.A. Milne’s beloved children’s character, the film grossed $5.2 million worldwide on a budget of less than $100,000.
The British slasher is written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. Craig David Dowsett, Chris Cordell, Amber Doig-Thorne, Nikolai Leon, Maria Taylor, Natasha Rose Mills, and Danielle Ronald star. A sequel is due out this year.
“Something’s Wrong With Piglet: Making Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” is included as a special feature along with the theatrical trailer.

James Denton will star alongside his son, Sheppard Denton, in Hallmark‘s “Perfect Harmony,” a new original moving premiering in the fall on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Sherri Saum will also star.
In, “Perfect Harmony,” Denton portrays Jack Chandeller while Saum plays Barrett Woodword. When thier mutual friends, Naomi (Julia Benson) and Simon (Peter Benson), are ready to tie the knot, they ask the duo to be Best Man and Maid of Honor.

For those who don’t know, this is the first chapter in a series of books by Timothy Lahaye, the evangelical Christian author, and was initially made into a cheapie film back in 2000 starring scion of all things ‘common sensical,’ Kirk Cameron. Time and greater talents were unable to aid the material in any discernable sense, however. This latest attempt was helmed by Vic Armstrong (a stunt man whose last notable directorial feature was the 1993 Dolph Lundren film, Army of One), and it seems this type of ideological fantasy is unable to divorce itself from floundering in skimpy productions that compromise technical integrity in favor of its belabored,...

Stoney Lake Entertainment has announced that Left Behind, starring Oscar winner Nicolas Cage, will be released on October 3rd.
Directed by filmmaker Vic Armstrong (Thor, Amazing Spider-man, War Of The Worlds), the apocalyptic action-adventure also features Chad Michael Murray, Cassi Thomson, Nicky Whelan, Lea Thompson and Jordin Sparks.
Left Behind follows Rayford Steele (Cage) who is piloting a commercial airliner just hours after the Rapture when millions of people around the globe simply vanish. Thirty thousand feet over the Atlantic, Rayford is faced with a damaged plane, terrified passengers, and a desperate desire to get back to his family. On the ground, his daughter, Chloe Steele (Cassi Thomson) is among those left behind, forced to navigate a world of madness as she searches for her lost mother and brother.
