Washington, Jun 13: The world's first baby bought entirely with Bitcoins has been born in California after the infant's parents paid for fertility treatments using only Bitcoins.
Dr. C. Terence Lee, a fertility specialist based in Brea, Calif., flashed a photo of a beaming infant across a projection screen at the Bitcoin 2013 conference as he announced that the baby was bought with bitcoin, CNN Money reported.
Lee said that it's the first time he's aware of that anyone has paid for fertility treatments that way.
The baby is reportedly the biggest victory yet for Lee in his campaign to persuade his patients to pay him for.

Bitcoin is a virtual currency that has been slowly making its way into the financial markets as of late, with 11 million bitcoins in circulation that are valued at around $1.4 billion. Now CNN Money has met the man who helped deliver the first Bitcoin baby.
Dr. C. Terence Lee is an Obgyn in California who is also a technophile. He became interested in Bitcoin as a form of currency and has started letting patients use that to pay for his services. Most aren't interested because they simply don't know what Bitcoin is, but Lee hit the jackpot (so to speak) with a couple whom he helped conceived three babies.
They paid for the fertility treatments for baby no. 4 with bitcoins. Dr. Lee gave them a half-off discount because he was so eager to try it out.
He had to find a currency converter, eventually using the now-defunct CryptoXChange service in Australia...

With ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’ set for release this December you have plenty of time to brush up on the great detective and his trusty partner Dr Watson. Only problem is that in his 124 year history, Holmes is one of, if not ‘the’, most portrayed fictional character of all time – so where to start?
Luckily you readers I have compiled a list of the 10 must see Sherlock Holmes Interpretations.
10. Young Sherlock Holmes (1985)
I’ll start with this underrated and often overlooked entry from executive producer Steven Spielberg and writer Chris Columbus (who went on to direct ‘Home Alone’ and the first two ‘Harry Potter’ pictures). This original adventure which re-imagines Holmes and Watson as teenagers who meet at boarding school and team up to solve a mystery involving a spate of murders around London.
Intended to kick off a franchise, this movie, while not based on any of Doyle’s stories,...
