- She played the same character on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997) and Angel (1999), even though that character took three different names over the course of the shows: Chantarelle, Lily and Anne (later Anne Steele).
- Julia appears as Constance, the Black Widow Bride, in the updated version of Disney's Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The character is a young woman from the late 19th century who marries five successive husbands for their money (each more wealthy than the last) and murders them on their honeymoons with an ax. Her final conquest is the owner of the Mansion, and at his untimely demise she becomes the Mistress of the Haunted Mansion, destined at her death to haunt the house forever.
- She played a young Anne Haney in an episode of Charmed (1998).
- Began studying acting at age 14 and earned a degree in theater at UC Irvine.
- Was known as the Passport Chocolatier and hosted a series of webisodes, where she went behind the scenes to explore chocolate factories, interview candy makers, visit cocoa plantations, cook with dessert chefs and traverse the globe to bring the world of chocolate to fans everywhere.
