Today is National Lazy Day and a few frustrated observers from across the political spectrum saw it as an opportunity to take shots the leadership in Washington D.C. Twitter users on the left resurfaced Newsweek’s “Lazy Boy” cover featuring Donald Trump, pointing out how much of his presidency has been spent golfing or watching cable news and how little has been spent passing actual legislation. Those on the right seemed to turn their aim toward Congress, slamming Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell and House speaker Paul Ryan for failing to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act after promising to do.
