Born in Zarautz (Basque Country) at 23-iv-1949. She worked in the first
years in the education area (as a teacher). After she started dubbing
films. At 1986 she studied at the Zine at Bideo Eskola (School of
cinema and video) in Andoain (village near Donostia-San Sebastian). At
1989 she directed their first short film in 35 mm (Maider), and for
this, obtain the best price in the Cinema School. At 1992 mades Urte
Ilunak (The black years). The film is about the first years between the
Spanish War and the following years, where the Basques (and Catalans,
Galiciens, etc.) live without free.
