It’s funny how sometimes the worst things in life make the best people. I spent most of my life growing up in a very religious based household. The values of the Bible were very well practiced within the walls of the place which I called home. Or so I thought. It was revealed to both me and my younger sister when we were 16 and 13 that my father had become a drug addict. He had used the drug for the same reason he had become a mild alcoholic when he first met my mother. He was trying to escape the realty he had repressed from a young age. He managed to overcome his addiction through counseling sessions, the help of my mother and honestly facing the reality that plagued him for years.
