This weekend, Coda Toronto will celebrate their 1 year anniversary and they’ll be doing so in style. Friday will see Art Department take the stage along with Jonathan Lee, My Favorite Robot and Night Vision. Saturday boasts an equally impressive lineup, with Loco Dice, Robert Dietz, Jonathan Rosa and Chris Larson all set to spin throughout the night.
Originally known as Footwork, the after hours club has quickly made a name for itself as one of the city’s hot spots for those who like to party long into the night, and seeing as they’ve boasted memorable shows with artists like Solomun, Marco Plex, Skream, Dubfire and more over the past year, it’s not hard to see why. With a top-of-the-line sound system, a great crowd and fantastic DJs every week, it’s quickly become a go-to spot for many Edm fans.

Wisconsin’s Democratic state senators, who fled to Illinois weeks ago in an ill-fated attempt to prevent the legislation’s passage, “will return to the Capitol for a rally on Saturday, said state Senator Chris Larson, one of those who left,” the Los Angeles Times reports. “The state will now be able to realize $30 million in savings to balance the budget and allow 1,500 state employees to keep their jobs,” Walker explained earlier today. Meanwhile, a similar but lower-profile battle rages on in Michigan, as Republican governor Rick Snyder is poised to sign into law a bill that could mitigate the powers of unions and elected officials.
